I don't think this has ever been done to explain Megs being evil and all battle hardened and serious. Imagine when he was a young bot there was some war with an alien faction(quintessons maybe?) and megs is really young and his best friend dies in the war and megs is sad/shocked and after the war he goes on a bit of a depression, becomes all hardend from the war and vows revenge on whoever killed his friend(maybe a treacherous TF?) and kills him, decides the system is corrupt or that he should rule and yeah.

The Transformers are all built by technologically advanced humans. None of them are alien in origin.

That was, no shit, Lorenzo DiBoneventura's explanation for the movie TFs for TF5. Quintessa was going to turn out to have originally been a human, and the Transformers were humanity's creation.

Aren't all Braves built by humans? (or human-like aliens in the case of Galeon)

Not in Brave Exkaiser, they were originally energy beings that possessed Earth vehicles (or animatronic dinosaurs in the case of the bad guys).

Maybe? I ask for forgiveness because I'm not familiar with that.

In the far future, probably after the 21st Century has ended, human technology has advanced greatly, and this leads to them building the Transformers, Dr. Arkeville could even be one of the many humans that built them. After building them, the Transformers would eventually achieve self awareness, whether the humans intended it or not.

The Decepticons, as to be expected from them, turns against humanity, seeing themselves as superior beings, with the goals of exterminating them and taking over the Earth for their own, and even then, they wouldn't stop at Earth, they would keep going until they have conquered the entire Universe. Could probably throw in that the Decepticons' next intended destination after conquering our solar system for their Decepticon Empire is Proxima Centauri.

Meanwhile, the Autobots, grateful that we even built them, and if we made them self aware, grateful for that too, stands against the Decepticons, doing everything they can to prevent the Decepticons from conquering the solar system and beyond, and protecting us from them.

The original Thirteen Primes are prototypes that humans built first, with Prima being the earliest model, and Optimus Prime being the final model of the original intended line of Primes. If Rodimus Prime is to succeed Optimus Prime as Autobot leader like did in G1, he would be the first of a new wave of Primes. I do like the idea that Megatron was also intended to be a Prime, but after he became self aware, he had absolutely no desire to be a Prime, equating being a Prime to being a slave to humanity, a slave to lesser beings no where near as great as himself, so instead he prefers to be the "Emperor of Destruction." In a way, could Megatronus/The Fallen and Megatron be merged into a single character here?

Vector Sigma could be an advanced supercomputer humans created before they even began building Transformers, used for many purposes, both related and not related to the Transformers, eventually becoming the good opposite of Skynet. No idea what the Key to Vector Sigma would be though, or if it would even have a key.

The Allspark could be the engine that keeps the Transformers online, that without the Allspark, they can't function, so Optimus Prime and the Autobots will not be able to just up and destroy it in order to prevent Megatron and the Decepticons from using it for malicious purposes, unless they're willing to make the sacrifice of shutting each and every Transformer down.

The only Transformers things that I don't really have ideas for in a story like this, is the Matrix, Primus, Unicron, the Quintessons, and even Cybertron and other related Transformers planets like Caminus.

Cool. I'll have to look for images of 50s Autobots.

For the second, I don't read IDW much. I was thinking less robots travelling around space with 4 page angst ridden inner monologues (I'll pick up Silver Surfer for that, thank you very much) and more along the lines of what the touched on in All Hail Megatron. What effect would it have on humanity if we went from, "Are we alone in the universe?" to "Why is that lizard guy trying to recruit us to fight my neighbor's truck?"

I would say an organic being found worthy to wield the power of the Matrix but I think ROTF kind of did that.

Marvel did this in G1. While captured, Optimus transferred the power of the creation matrix to Buster.

A Transformers series where the Decepticons have seized control of Cybertron, and the Autobots are a resistance group. The Bumblebee movie had that, and I'd love to see it fleshed out.

Cons seemed to control Cybertron in G1, while Bots that were still there were portrayed as resistance fighters.

Were I to reboot G1, I'd take advantage of the 1980s setting and really lean into the Cold War aspects of it. Autobots and Decepticons having to fight both each other and the nations that are trying to drag them into their conflict. Decepticons could be infiltrating both sides, playing them off each other, etc.

Something along the lines of the Horus Heresy with the fall of the 13 Primes. Primus is effectively dead, Unicron beaten, and a Cybertronian empire is being built to herald a new golden age. Unfortunately, something is whispering in the ears of some of the Primes, threatening to collapse everything before it even begins...

    A few more things.

I want a Sphinx Transformer, hell more mythological beast / Cryptid TF's would be awesome in general as there's a lot of untapped potential with bizarre / strange alt-modes. I'd like if they played with the idea of Quintesson / Cybertronian hybrids to further nail home how intertwined these two species are. Maybe come up with more disturbing / creepy prototypes of the Cybertronian species, like the Trans-Organics from the Sunbow cartoon. Perhaps the eggheads made other attempts at creating a slave sub-species and failed, so they dumped a bunch of them onto a random planet somewhere. It'd be amusing and ironic if they worked in some of the uglier Bayverse designs in as part of a creepy, adulterated earlier iteration of the Cybertronians that are mostly primitive, subterranean monsters.

Bay Prime could be incorporated as a particularly powerful (and psychotic) member of this sub-species. Maybe they could look more like the parody ones from Panty & Stocking with garterbelt.

Ooh! Ooh! Transformers anime animated by Studio TRIGGER! With their constant references to Transformers(Nods to Shattered Glass in Gridman, Astrotrain in Space Patrol Luluco, Faction Insignias in Gurren Lagaan) they're basically begging Hasbro to let them make a TF Anime!

Beast Wars 2, Beast Wars Neo did that. They said "Henshin!" instead of Maximize, and they did poses.
