I know, we have th e KO thread running for over 10 years, but for obvious reasons, newer stuff is posted daily

I propose a new thread for older stuff we find from time to time, from recent purchases, to general information

For example, i got this new Deathsaurus KO from 1993, Apparently called: "Sun Warriors Jupiter"

extremely similar to the more common "Star Warriors Royal Condor"

Coloring is based on Red Geist, includes Articulated wings (improvement over the official figures), and the remolded legs to transform him into an armored car (like Royal Condor) that makes him taller

Chest gimmick works, a real Breast Lion fits, a little tight but just fine. From the package pic i found, seems a remolded chest was included in the box

Quality is half decent, but since is more a display piece, im not afraid to broke him... although mine was broken during shipping  

No problem, i paid like $7 for it

I think this was the first KO produced, and the later release removed the wings and chest to lower costs (or maybe is a KO from the KO)

Eventually a newer KO was available in the early 2010s, wings and chest included

This version removed the robot and chest wings, everything is loose, a common problem is a broken head crest, since the Bird/Dragon neck is too tight while transforming. Had to mod mine to prevent any issues

The little lion barely holds together, but can be mounted on the chest and as a weapon

Just like the other colors, the remolded legs give him a better display look with Star Saber, however, loses the ability to use the dragon tail in beast mode

I'm normally not a fan of spinning off things into new threads that already fit in existing threads, but I'd love a thread for just the straight G1 KOs. There's so much random weird stuff in the KO thread but I'd like a nice consolidated place to discuss just the G1 KOs, especially since many of the original molds have been lost so certain figures, like the Dinobots, have no hope of a reissue and can only be found as vintage or KO.

Got it weeks ago, bad quality plastic and tolerances, same overall size as your standard Grimlock

Tail prone to breakage. My sample is missing one arm...

still, a great display piece! Looks very good all things considered

 

I know, but the current thread is over 11 years old and obviously, current stuff is posted everyday, is very hard to keep track of older and interesting stuff

Got it from Hungary earlier this year

Chinese KO, colors reminds me of Hot Spot... includes a fire ladder, no pump mechanism, transforms just fine but plastic quality is bad

bumper panels broke, i was able to glue them back. Also, the cannon mount was factory broken, had to use epoxy to make it stronger

 

Theres a green version of this as well

 

You could repurpose him as Hotspot.

I got them 15 years ago. I was lucky. They go for ridiculous prices now. Vortex and Blast Off have very fragile shoulders. Vortex broke the day I got him but Blue tack fixed them.

Onslaught is a thing of beauty. As large as G1 Ultra Magnus in robot mode.

Can anyone help. Im searching for (preferably a full set of) knockoff Choryujin (Hyoryu and Enryu) and Gekiryujin (Fuuryu who is silver for some reason and Rairyu). They were sold by Happy well as Galaxy Defenders and in germany were i´m from by Simba as Planet Fighter. I used to have one of the figures (though it was mostly imcomplete) as a kid and years later when i got into anime and watched GaoGaiGar i was reminded of it and have been searching ever since. Does anyone have them and would be willing to sell them preferably in Europe?
Any help is appreciated.

I have two of these KOs, Choryujin, they were briefly available in Mexico in the second half of the 2000s at retail. Havent seen them again in the second hand market sadly

Still wanting to get the other two...
