    Just wondering why no one ever talks about robot kingdom as they have Thomas available for pre order at $179 which you have to pay up front .

    You could take them to small claims court OR hire a PI attorney who doesn't charge unless they win.

    Shipping from Robotkingdom to the USA was outrageous before Corona. I cant imagine how much it would be now

    They usually have a low initial price but then the high shipping comes out to about the same as anyone else. Issue is actually getting it.. I've been waiting on Seacons from them for months now.

    I believe DalianJJ said that even though companies don’t have to pay until the order is ready, that whoever pays first gets their order first. So I can see why companies would want to pay up front. Just read the folks complaining about how store XYZ hasn’t shipped or gotten their order each time a new release drops. It’s funny to see folks drop pre-orders and buy in stock items from places to get a figure a little earlier.

    TD for 3P all the way for me. A service, 100% of the time. Fast too!

    AJP for official stuff. I sure wish 3P had an AJP equivalent but I'm OK supporting the help out of Eddie.

    I'm in the US, so YMMV, I understand other parts of the world have it really hard when it comes to purchasing TF's.

    No thanks. I have no doubt they're great and well intentioned...but so was CapruredPrey, and AcesToyStore, and so & so, and so & so, etc... Shit happens. Bad things happen to good people...and no matter how well intentioned they are, if they get up shit creek and you're past your 180 days...sucks to be them and sucks to be you. Nah dood. I'm not paying in full for a preorder that could be delayed till who knows when...especially in these times when shit could soooo easily go sideways for anyone. Same thing with Baba or anyone else asking for pay in full upfront. FTS...

    He sent out an email requesting full payment from the people who had put down a deposit. Personally, rather than requesting a refund, I just ignored his email and left my preorder as a deposit.

    I would assume that the dude was active before “likes” were added. I can’t remember when that option became active. Maybe 2-5 years ago? Oh well.
