    Ok, this place is huge. I don't have a swimming ability yet so I can't go under the water. I just killed the two headed dragon and explored most of the tower and now I'm looking at the map and I'm saying, where the hell am I supposed to go? I am thoroughly lost and would not like to look up a walkthrough to figure out what to do next, a hint would be nice. With Double Jump and Flame Breath abilities where do I go now?

    That's cool and all...however..it is getting a lot further away from CV, and becoming more of its own thing. Again, that is fine...but the reason I liked the 1st was it was a spiritual successor to CV3. This has a mech in it? It looks good and fun. I will likely still check it out but....meh...

    I think it's a good thing. The series needs to grow beyond its roots, and getting us used to that with one of the spinoff games is a good idea. I also wouldn't want IntiCreates--founded by former Capcom staff, and more accustomed to making Mega Man--to get stuck making straight Castlevania clones.

    CV was very obviously running out of ideas toward the end, or at least the budget to implement new ideas, so it's hardly a bad thing that it's defacto replacement is doing new stuff.

    I love that they’re getting so much mileage out of this game, but what I really want is a sequel.

    That will still be a ways off. They have a roadmap of promised DLC and upgrades for this game, and they're not done with that yet.
