Yep! I think we lucked out. Certainly a high point of the week for me -- getting something in the mail is such a nice treat these days!

 

All my packages are still sitting somewhere for over a month now, and TFSafari aren't even mailing anything out at this point... *sigh*

 

Hey team, I need help.

Has anyone had the experience of a package that is listed as ‘delivered’, but wasn’t actually delivered?

I ordered a figure from a Chinese seller on eBay a month ago, and received notification that it had been shipped by SpeedPak.

Tracking via eBay was spotty. Then, I received notification from eBay that the figure had been delivered to my mailbox yesterday. Upon receiving this notification, I strolled down my driveway and found nothing in my mailbox. And nothing on my driveway, front step, side door, etc. Nothing anywhere.

For various reasons, there’s essentially zero chance this small package was stolen by a porch pirate, so that’s not it.

Is this merely a shipping snafu or could this be a scam? What recourse do I have?

Probably scam. You can file a dispute through PayPal or eBay to get your money back. Better do it soon before the dispute window closes. PayPal is 180 days, eBay is like 30 days.

Thanks. I’ve been scammed before, and have been refunded by PayPal. In those cases, I received no tracking number, or a number that went nowhere. In this case, the whole ‘delivered’ aspect has thrown me off.

I’m just curious how a nonexistent delivery can register as being delivered through SpeedPak and eBay. It’s demoralizing to think that a scammer can manipulate those other parties.

Frustrating...

 

If the tracking info has your street address on it specifically, it may have been delivered to a neighbor/nearby residence on accident? Betcha it's an small box with beads or something.

Usually scammers usually put in an un-deliverable address and you only see the city/state, but I would imagine sometimes they unintentionally put in a valid address?

Either way you should get your money back no problem.

 

I had Masterpiece Bumblebee and Wheeljack shipped to my friends apartment.

Around 5:30pm USPS texts me saying notice left no secure location available.

Not a big deal it can be redelivered or picked up at the local post office.

Just a tad disappointed.

Yeah, going through a similar bit myself. Due to porch pirates i tend to get my packages sent to work. Today i was expecting 2 boxes and one showed up (i was the one who recieved the mail) yet the 2nd one suddenly popped up with 'delivered to individual'...which would be ME, and Id like to think that id notice, especially when Im expecting 2 boxes. Thankfully it wasnt the Devil Stinger I finally pulled the trigger on but my WM Hotlink is currently AWOL

 

Finally bit the bullet and got me a Botcon 2015 Megatron off of Ebay on Sunday. Got my tracking number but still hasn't shipped yet with a scheduled delivery of Friday. I've heard all the horror stories of being scammed and what not hence why this is my first time ordering from Ebay. Seller has 100% positive rating so I have faith and confidence that I'll actually recieve what I ordered in due time, hopefully.

 

Ok WTF!! My KFC Transistor from Terry’s TF Club was in Jersey City as of today according to 17 tracking and now it erased all that and has it cleared through customs in Chicago!! What is that shit!

 

Both Seawing and Nautilator arrived at the Smartpost location in Tampa yesterday, so I'm like "yes, they'll be here tomorrow".
But for some god damn reason, tracking says Seawing departed said location last night around 8 without shipping info being sent to USPS, and now has an expected delivery date for Monday the 12th.

Nautilator, however, is still on track to get delivered today (the 9th). Shipping info was sent to USPS and all.

WTF is going on?

 

I ordered a Mego Mr.Spock for my friend.

It shipped on the 1st.

As of the 7th tracking stated in transit to next facility.

On top of that my friend and his wife have been hit with a mild case of covid-19.

My hope was that Mr.Spock would cheer him up a little.

 

ordered BMB LS-10 from TF source back in late march, checking the tracking says it’s been sitting in Guangzhou airport since april 2nd. has anyone gotten any packages from China since the pandemic started? i’ve emailed TF source and they said it’s still on it’s way but i’m starting to get anxious. it’s not moving because china shut down all flights or something like that right?

 

Yes, I've bought 6 "masterpiece" figures from Amazon and eBay in the past couple of months. Four of them have arrived with no issue so far and have taken about the standard two week time I was used to before the pandemic. I'm having the same issue you are having with one from Guangzhou where it says it processed through a facility there on April 26th and there have been no updates since.

 

I've had packages en route that got delayed for 1.5-2 months before finally arriving more recently here in the US.

A TFSafari package from 2 months ago finally arrived at the local distribution center. Another one still hasn't updated that was sent a few days after that one.

A TFSafari package from a couple weeks ago arrived today with their new shipping option. Would've gotten here earlier if customs didn't hang onto the package for a week. Another TFSafari package cleared customs after a day only and hopefully here soon.

 

Waiting for a package from HasbroPulse that was slated to be delivered on the 7th. Changed to "Schedule delivery: pending", like FedEx does.
It was two hours away on the 7th, then was 40 minutes away on the 8th, and hasn't updated since. Which is weird - I've had packages sit at places, but at least it updates daily to say it's in the same place and hasn't moved, haha. If it doesn't say that it's out for delivery tomorrow, I'll call the location and see if I can just pick it up.

The last package I ordered from them (arrived last week) took exactly a week. This current one shipped out last Sunday, so theoretically, it would arrive today (but it still says "pending").

 

man, tracking my recent order from EE has been one of the weirdest packages I’ve tracked, it just stopped moving in my state on the tracker on their site, and the usps tracking number has no history at all on the the usps site

Anyone else ever had any weirdness happen on an EE order before? This is my first order with them

 

They may have used UPS Surepost? It goes from their location in California to your city/state by UPS, then it gets dropped off at your post office to be delivered by USPS on the final leg.

That usually adds a day or two to shipping, and it gets assigned a USPS shipping number apart from the UPS one.

 

thx, I used usps parcel select, not smartpost/surepost, it’s not been long enough over estimate to be worried (I’ll probably wait a week), but I’m just scratching my head over the entire experience being so different from every other e-tailer experience I’ve had

 

I feel your pain I'm waiting on a parcel select as well. Standard time is like 8 business days but they say no time guarantee and can be delayed ie at the back of the trailer and if there are priority packages it gets left to sit.

Mine contains Feral Rex the final combiner I need for my US G1 combiner collection
