I'm still impressed by this kit. What's the plan for your "Microplex" though?

ahh yeah, this is microplex, he is Deluxe sized and compatible with the earthrise modulators. Test printing now, but haven't made a thread yet as the rules dont allow for CAD only threads, waiting for my first test print to be complete

Alright, I need to ask. Has anyone used any online websites that will print things out for you, like xometry, 3dhubs or sculptio? there are too many along with them in my searches and all the reviews there are tend be either be few and iffy, or non-existant… I really want this kit....

Is it wrong that I want to ask if anyone here could print it out for me? I'd definitely cover costs and whatnot, but then would I still need to buy the files myself to support @waffel 's work, or do i paypal him the money? Like what goes on in that area?
(I'm so out of my element...)
    Microplex?
*mouth waters* I literally posted some time ago that I wanted smaller-scaled bots that looked like Titans!!! While I said I'd prefer them Voyager, deluxe is very workable!! His stomach area is a bit skinny if you ask me, though.... I'm definitely going to need to find a way to print these, now more than ever.

Oh damn, sorry I have never sold on etsy before so I just presumed if I updated the product it would push the update out for anyone who purchased it

I've attached the zip here on my google drive so you can download the files while I work out if there is a way to push this update to people on etsy
    Update Files.zip

Ok, thanks. I'll get to printing and test fitting tomorrow. I appreciate the work and support you put into this kit

Maybe Cults3d.com might be a better venue for you to sell this.

If I may ask though, whats changed on the new Bow Top Flap item? I have them side by side and see no obvious difference.

Instead of adding additional tabs to the side panels I extended the back of the hinge section. Now it rests up against the bow when folded into vehicle mode stopping it drooping

Ok, cool. I'll print it and test the fit. One more thing. Any update on those paddle wheels?

And Peaugh jumps into the mix. I imagine that's going to give a healthy boost to your sales, Waffel. Congrats!

I'm usually not into this kind of stuff, but I am totally blown away by the engineering here. This looks wonderful. Truly. I would be proud if I would ever be able to have that on my shelf.

Oh, Sam showing off his stuff on twitter is the entire reason I own a 3D printer now. I’d been wanting one for a while, but his stuff is what pushed me over the edge into purchasing one, and I don’t regret it in the least.

Which printer do you have? I’ve been kinda interested in one for a while too, but it seems sorta daunting. I had access to one at college a few years ago, but that era is sadly over haha

I have the Artillery Genius, and it’s been fantastic so far.

I've been using a Qidi X-Pro. The Artillery Genius works a like like the Prusa or the Ender-3. The bigger your build plate and print is the more momentum you'll have to deal with and it could cause ghosting on the print.
I prefer a more ridgid frame with the plate being the Z axis and have most of the movement done on a lighter print head. Unfortunately the X-Pro is dual extruder, so I still have some minor ghosting due to the weight. But at least it won't get worse as the play fills up

Could this be moved (or duplicated to) the 3P discussing thread? More exposure is needed!

Hell, I'd be all down for that. Maybe I should make a thread there just with the finished article given the files are for sale
