I had only heard how lame the new VIP program was before finally logging in recently to see it for myself. Yeah it is lame compared to how it used to be but if anything I will just continue to bank the points and use them for $X off coupons. My Lego buying has slowed way down over the last year and a half so its not a huge deal for me.

That was my thinking too. I am sure the Razorcrest will be on sale for 20% off at most, at Target or Walmart in the future but the double points and GWP got me to bite now. I am not even crazy about the DSII set so I may end up selling it in the future to offset some of the cost of the Razorcrest. I still have an unopened Escape the Space Slug set somewhere that I'll probably sell when I dig through some of my storage.

That's what I meant. It's just weird to me that such a set wouldn't be a mass release.

I have been buying lego off of Ebay mostly, there used to be a lot of great deals, but it appears to have dried up. The last major purchase direct from Lego was the Batmoblie to get the exclusive smaller batmoblie, then it was the UCS Falcon for the useless black VIP card. I still need to buy both the Tantive IV and the Star Destroyer, since there was no major offer, can wait for a great deal or big sale.

Ordered the Tantive IV from Lego.com. I was going to get the helmets but they were sold out.

Man, those Hidden Side sets are looking pretty dope. Kinda makes me wish I was more into the theme. The castle's super cool, and I'm really digging that car (love the cartoon ghost sticker on the side!).

My willpower broke on the Star Destroyer - figures double points and a freebie I don’t want that I can sell, but alas...it is out of stock. I’m assuming it was available on the 1st but didn’t look until the second. Oh well - next double points period.

    WOW that is a lot.

Don't think it'll happen, but a Zelda set would be really cool finally. And don't think it could be mucked up with some gimmick like Mario heh.

And that working waterfall is super impressive.

But mostly just waiting to hear (what'll probably be a "no"...) on that BIONICLE tribute from 2019 still.

    I want to see:
    Mary Poppins
    Bowling Alley
    Knight Rider
    Rome
    Ruined House
    Spongebob
    The Globe

the ruined house is my favorite and the globe if they polished it a bit and made the continents have some color variation/topography it would be great.

Spent yesterday going through and cleaning up my storage. Sorted, cataloged and took pics of almost 75 unopened sets that I am planning on selling. Friends, Marvel, DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney Princess, City, Creator, Brickheadz, and a bunch of miscellaneous sets. I made an excel spreadsheet so if anyone wants a the spreadsheet emailed to them shoot me a pm.

I think the last times were for the Nexo Knights theme. Both the Fortrexx and Knighton Castle had fully-encompassing walls. I think that's the last opportunity they've had to make a proper castle, Harry Potter aside.
