Thank you for asking, I used a Rust-oleum Universal, advance formula, gloss white color for Scavenger's arms and cab. After it had finished drying, I quickly smeared black paint, with a paper towel, to finish it off.

I don’t know if this is resolved already, but the 2007 deluxe and MPM versions of Jazz are pretty much the same size in altmode.

This is the only picture of them together I currently have on my camera roll but I can dig out my 2007 Jazz if you want a more complete comparison.

Can you show more pics of what you did? I looked at the previous ones and couldn’t really tell. I just assumed it was his cod piece that was angled upwards and not his chest angled downwards. But if the mod is straightforward, I might do it. Maybe.

Looks great in dino mode, but honestly the Studio Series looks better in bot mode imo, especially with that glorious metallic green wash.

Congrats! You’ve waited a long time for this moment. Now if I could just get my leader class Fallen and Black Series clone commandos...

What blaster attachment is that on your SS Stinger? Looks nice, kinda interested in finding one

Aaand now I’m back to being unsure about getting an MPM-4 or going after the Movie The Best 11 Prime :lol
It really is amazing how well that leader holds up. It’s one of the entire franchise’s best figures. A flagship imo. And it has hip ratchets in both directions like a larger figure should!

I miss Animated Shockwave. Maybe I should try tracking one down again...
Doesn’t scale too bad with Studio Series, either

I'm using the jetpack piece from HFTD Highbrow's backpack, since he broke a few years ago.

After owning MPM 4 and the old leader I can’t say the leader held up THAT well. It’s still a good figure, but posing it is really awkward, the transformation while not hard is clunky AF. Idk, I can’t see myself going back to it. Totally agree on the ratchets tho. Still have the leader’s truck on display.

(btw I sent you a PM, I do if you saw.)

    They sure are:
    20200107_152645.jpg 20200107_152626.jpg 20200107_144840.jpg

Despite owning the MPM, I still find the leader's transformation much more enjoyable and intuitive, actually. Both have their charms, but if I had to choose just one, I might actually choose the leader.

Added tiny magnets to a few members of the crew to help store weapons in robot mode:

Ratchet's magnet on his back was placed just so to help add a little more tension to the black flip down part, and the saw slots in that recess perfectly.
His gun helps fill the void in the backpack area a little more.
Hopefully we'll see MPM Ratchet soon, and fingers crossed it blows this one away.

Hot Rod can now store his matching pistols on his back neatly underneath his door wings.
I like to think the time modification ring is a separate addition.

Bumblebee can now store his LED cannon in that recess created by his vehicle mode kibble stack.
The hammer attachment could be improved upon, but I was mainly out to attach the cannon.

The Wreckers also received what I like to imagine as a sort of "stand down mode" wherein their backpacks and weapons have been arranged more compactly,
as if that's how they look when on-board a command ship or hanging out inside headquarters. They then arm-up and flare out into their battle-ready looks.

Roadbuster now has a neat magnetic weapon stack that doesn't add too much more to his backpack kibble, but definitely adds play-ability.

    01ab0eccbe70e6bdf4e18e5313c92fc06df29b4f45.jpg 01d3821f97e0fbde7acb534454d68f643ed238532a.jpg 0162d08f3125cd141b53ad5d18c4a321766df04b78.jpg 01b2aaf7797f79f7c5cb007e7030fa015e4387333b.jpg

Topspin did't get any magnets, as his "stand down mode" holds everything snugly under light tension.
I was working with Topspin for quite some time as he has quite a few parts to find perfect storage for.

    016190214cf4702903a0e7b712667647db4985655d.jpg 01f595ce860971d6cdd1e02062039fc6c4dd3954d9.jpg 011e455cf880c6ed6e8236a436128691a27ce30fc6.jpg

Leadfoot also did not get any magnets, but again, maybe in the future. His backpack has some nice slots for his arm guns, and while his main gatling suffers from a lack of symmetry (pet peeve), it looks alright where it is.

    01c56980f45d9a099594cce51c60cc9e00fb6496a4.jpg 012ab7ce253da4dfec4cefa94c5842f051a22b164c.jpg 0151d0a2c1e78bea41d6ec45bd621e58ad132fd113.jpg

Brawl got a few in order to hold his gatlings to his compressed backpack arrangement, and also an adequately sized space for his arm-mounted rocket launcher,
which helps with the minimized look.

    018d78a9dc185ea4ab7833533957f2d82beaec6bb6.jpg 01dcaabab4c11aec03982f1bffc70d13517b7444f5.jpg 01b1ce2ddbca341c73d3f96af345c550f6ec5fdda4.jpg 01e5bfb6275019cd4197d57585d15e13c26dafd6d3.jpg

Starscream, whilst soon to be replaced with his MPM, has some spaces that hold his weapons inside his chest, and some modifications to his hand mounts enables a compact stack to be achieved.

Using magnets to stow accessories on the body is such a great idea!

For a hot minute Hasbro were using magnets in nearly every Star Wars figure, and Palisades had magnets in the head of every Muppet Show figure who wore a hat.

I need to look into getting myself some magnets and embed them into toys like those companies used to do.
