That looks great. Not too crowded or anything so I'd be happy with that. :)

Dr Wu, and I have both versions, the space one that you see, and the one from s1 or 2.

Does anyone use the blue chest version of Scoria in with the rest of the regular Dinobots? Just wondering if that would fit in well enough

    You mean the diaclone one?

If so, it should work as long as you have blue soar. Just make sure you position the group like the pic I had earlier, ie scoria and soar on each side of Grinder, then Sever and Stomp at the far ends.

Oh yeah, I didn’t even realize it was the diaclone version.

Yeah I have blue Soar so it might work out and break colours up more. He seems to be easier to find. Your setup Looks like it would work with the 2 blues. thanks!

I have actually wanted a blue scoria and soar duo, just could never justify the space and money for having the extra duo over the x team. I think the blue on both looks fantastic. Maybe a glue grinder too.

I would love to have the diaclone grinder, I still kick myself for not getting one. Displaying blue soar, diaclone scoria and diaclone grinder would have been great. I do have the G2 team though, and that blue grinder is gorgeous.

How do you remove the hand from Scoria? I thought it was one screw but I’m not sure how to get it out after I removed it. I have a replacement hand because the finger broke off the one I have.

I've never replaced them but it's clearly riding on a post between those two halves. If you're looking for an opinion, I'd say just keep taking screws out until it comes apart and you can get at them. Take pictures on your cell each part you take apart so you can see how to put it back together. Scoria is known for being a pain to tear apart depending what parts you're going after.

Anyhow, I suspect you need to get those two gray parts apart so you'll need to go up to the elbow to get yourself there and get the new hand in. Just take it slow and don't force anything so you don't break it :)  I'd bet also there is probably a spring and ratchet gear in that elbow so go really slow taking that arm apart so it doesn't go flying on you (also so you can see how it's seated before it comes apart).

Thanks for the reply. I ran out of time for today but I’ll get back at it tomorrow. Yeah, I guess I’ll take the elbow screws out and try and separate it enough to get the hand off. Should be easy after that but I am worried about ratchet/spring being an issue. I had that issue replacing Terminus Giganticus’ head. He won’t look exactly straight now (either a little left or right) due to how the ratchet and spring settled once I got it swapped.

So I recently pulled out scoria from storage (my garage). I noticed the gold die cast feet are no longer shiny. The horns are similar. They seem scuffed (even though this has only ever been displayed or stored away). Anyone experience this? If so, how’d you fix/clean this?

I think this oxidation is common with scoria. I haven't heard of a fix for it..would be interested myself.

Yep, mine has it too. Buffing it helps.
