That's fine. I just see so many posts from you reinforcing your own beliefs about many figures on these boards, not just BA Prime.
People on here write as if their opinions are the end all be all word on subjects, which is simply not cool.
I think it's fair to ask you where you're amassing your views from, and I'm entitled to ask for background.

 

So I just saw the smokestack break @Shmoptimus Prime had, I think I stated that I had the exact same issue and it's been the only break I've had in the 2+ months I had mine, even after easily 10+ transformations, this is due to the Chrome paint being too thick, so I highly recommend sanding those tabs a bit, mine transforms like a charm after doing so  

Also... That new molded head looks really good! Can't wait to see it painted and installed! If it looks anything like the Dino model one it'll definitely be a must-buy for me

And what else am I supposed to write on here but what I think? That's a really weird thing to say, as you're not "entitled" to anything here. If you want to ask don't ask in an accusatory manner like I'm making shit up if I don't personally know people in a factory in China. If you've actually been reading my posts you'd see that I clearly state my opinions and why they are that way, and I also have continually said how much I still like the figure in certain ways like how it looks.

 

Unfortunate for you guys. I still don't believe it's indicative of the whole figure being a wash like some posts make it out to be.

 

You don't have to know me personally, I don't know you either. But I use this site everyday, and see many of your posts.

Why do you care so much what I think anyways? I reported issues with a figure that I had heard good things about and I really wanted to like. And guess what? I DO like it. But it broke on me and it's overcomplicated and I don't feel it's the greatest thing in the world. So sorry you disagree, but your dismissive tone makes it really seem like you're saying "I don't give a shit that yours broke cause mine didn't" and that's pretty rude.

I guess your name is Black Apple Optimus Prime then if you feel slighted by my posts   The figure doesn't need defending that badly. It's sold well and the general opinion of it is high (including my own opinion). But you decided to make this personal for some reason so maybe I'll just block you.

 

Gentlemen, let's calm down a bit. Shmop certainly isn't the first to have issues with the figure, just the most recent. He admits to it being anecdotal, so that should be it. There's going to be lemons and good copies for every figure. Bottom line is, unless everyone is having the exact same problem, you can still make your own judgment.

 

Can still like things even when you roast em. (Which you weren’t but still) Weirdly the stuff I love I always nitpick or make fun of....

With people replacing his head, is anyone looking to part with their stock head and/or faces? I tried modding mine today to remove the forehead gap but accidentally scratched the face...

 

You just need the face for him? I'm using the one with the flip out mask, but not the others.

 

Great group there, and Ironhide is definitely too short.

 

Soon to be replaced with BA Ironhide, no doubt.
I do not like the BMB upscale as there is no upgrade kit for it.
I can do with things being out of scale if there is a preference in my mind.
