Soooo I decided I'd make my self a new version of good old blaster due to me changing the scale of my collection to fit better with the ER lads. The figure I used as the base was that of Siege soundwave, the legs have been cut up and had some custom scratch built pieces and speakers attached, a new head from good old shapeways, arm cut and modifed and finally the chest window modifing using styrene to give it more of a blaster feel.

    Thoughts?

Very Nice! Really like the leg speakers.

I'm aware that Blaster isn't as popular as Soundwave is, but this is kind of one of those given retools that I'm surprised hasn't happened officially already. Perhaps Earthrise Wave 4 or WFC Trilogy part 3.

I used that same Shapeways head from steamshield on my Megasteel Buster...I think he fits a classic scale as well. As a matter of fact, I feel Siege Soundwave reminds me of the Megasteel Buster.
    carry on...

    "Look out and shout! Ow!"

I'm liking those speaker areas on the leg panels in particular.

Gorgeous. Could so easily pass for an official figure. Love it.

Wow, but maybe you should paint in the parts in the side which fold out from the legs(the wee dotted things).
