Ok that's it, but they still suck.

 

Megatron and Blitzwing both have a seat in the tank's turret for the headmasters

 

But the stick out horribly

 

Female Transformers have led the villains in the live action movies twice so far. Then there's Windblade.

 

The original argument is their presence. Does it suck? Sure. Does that mean it doesn't exist? No. For the sake of a consistent argument, Megatron and Blitzwing have a dedicated seat in tank mode for their heads

 

I would have to disagree. Because technically all them can stick on them. Perceptor can drive his tank mode. And all of them have littleBut it's very visible. When I have a headmaster in alt mode, I want the head out of sight. Not sitting on the back of a turret of a tank, which makes no sense.
Story wise everyone being a head master makes no sense. What made more sense was the style of star saber. Even in his smallest mode, it was still star saber, because he reduced his size to talk to smaller creatures. If they had gone that way, maybe this wouldn't bug me so much.

I like windblade, but how did she become a face of the series so quickly?
Acree in the comics was just insane.

 

Like Kaynama stated, Megs and Blitzwing do have a seat in tank mode,

Perceptor is NOT a vehicle, and the headmaster does have a place to go, on the "table", and in "tank" he does have a seat.
Soundwave (and Blaster) is NOT a vehicle, and the headmaster can be inserted inside using the "remote".

 

I don't understand why people are so excited about the Netflix wave of Siege figures. It's just a wave of repaints of figures that are barely a year old. I know that people want new products but this is not something that I would go nuts trying to track down.

To be fair I wasn't a fan of repaints until Combiner Wars pretty much blew that out of the water, even still I try to limit the number of times I buy the same mold. Today with the modern era when they do a lot more to make the repaints feel unique these are the most straight-up repaint we have gotten in a long time, I mean most of them aren't even new characters. I'm just skipping the whole wave and waiting for wave two of Earthrise.

 

I didn't get most of the Siege figures because of the lame/lazy alt modes and terrible battle damage and existing better versions, but the battle damage/worn paint looks amazing to me on the Netflix set. I never even considered buying the Megatron mold until seeing the paint on this version.

 

I only want the Megatron set and even then, I want it primarily for the two Battle Masters he comes with. I'll gladly sell the standalone Megatron when I get it.

 

I'm 100% with you. But I go a step a further for my mind and budget. I won't even have more than one of the same character. I research the best I can and pick one. I respect those those that have 30 optimus prime, but I find it boring.

 

Exactly I mean I only have about four of each Optimus Prime and Megatron. Even in the case of Siege and Earthrise Optimus at least they are still two different toys. When you have both in hand you can really see the differences between them. I mean I do like the green and dull gold on the Netflix Hound but I look over at the original Hound and just think that it really isn't worth it.

 

I'm sorry, but I can't STAND the huge flat and square chests on ER Hoist, Trailbreaker, Wheeljack and Sunstreaker. ! can't help but think it needs to be fixed. I really hope someone comes around and released upgrade kits to fix SS's and WJ's chests...As for the other two.... I vastly prefer the T30 versions but no shade tossed to those that enjoy the ER versions.

 

I don't think RTS Tracks looks that good even for its time, as I think proportion-wise the figure looks weird for its intended character; I think the torso is way too bulky, the limbs are way too stubby compared to the enormous chest, and the head is smaller than it should've been. The MP Tracks figure may not be the greatest figure, but one thing it does right is actually its looks, body proportion are exactly as how they should look on such a character.

 

The flat chest of Wheeljack bugged me a lot in pictures, but it’s not as bad in-hand, at least.

Doubledealer looks horrible. A fat ugly bird mode, eye-searing colorscheme and a wide, blocky robot mode. The missile-carrier looks ok at least. Why does a toy in 2020 look as bad as the original from the 80’s?

 

As much as I usually think "to each their own" about other peoples' collecting habits, I just can't wrap my head around MIB/MISB collectors, especially when it comes to high-end stuff that typically doesn't even have a window on the packaging, ultimately you're just paying through the nose for a box, what's the point?
I actively think AFA is a scam and a waste of money, like, you can see what condition the thing is in with your own eyes and can just buy an acrylic display box without paying someone to assign it an arbitrary rating.

 

I’m not a huge fan of those chests either. They just really push the blockiness of designs that are already very blocky. @Printformers designed a new chest piece for Wheeljack that looks tremendous: Minor/Repaint: - Transformers Earthrise Wheeljack improvement

 

So if we don't get Spoilsport and Peacemaker in the same mold as Pinpointer, Imma be mad. I don't care if one isn't color accurate or not, I just want the three targetmasters to match in mold....Also, I'm kind of annoyed that all the new Battlemasters are just shield/roads....I was hoping for some of the ones not done yet....

lastly,, I'm liking ER the least out of the previous 6 years of themes we got.... Let's hope the GS and exclusives can change that....

That's the thing. I saw it in-person, and it made me hate it more.....usually its the opposite with me!! Like Sideswipe, Ironhide or SoundBlaster. I love their blocky chests but not Hoist and Wheeljack…..

I'm VERY well aware of that. I just hope he puts it out there for the public so I can bring myself to buy WJ, and I hope he listens to my suggestion of working on Sunstreaker when the time comes, too.

 

Yup.. it's something that I'll never understand either when it comes to toys... they should be to enjoy. But then, I've seen very similar behavior with other type of collecting.

I do know that to some, it's about just having it, without a true defining reason aside bragging rights "I have it", but it's kinda sad to never actually enjoy the item for what it's mean to be, in this case, a toy. As you stated, they could have a bag of sand in those boxes for all they know and would never know otherwise.

It's something that isn't meant to offend anyone, but when I see someone posting a picture of their collection and it's just a bunch of boxes... it just doesn't look like a collection to me, it looks like you have a store in your house.

I can understand if you're in the group of not being an actual collector but more someone hoping for an investment as your goal is reselling it after storing it for many years hoping that it gains in value... note that if you are such a person, you have one or two, and you go with proper market value, it's not too bad as you could end up helping out a collector, but if you're one of those that hordes a figure, drain all surrounding stores of it to create a drought, and then sell it at crazy inflated prices, then I hope that everything that has ever happened to Wile E. Coyote happens to you.
