I haven't, but this is the third time it's come up today so I think I should take the hint and do that one next-ish   I've seen people do some pretty good fan modes for making the robot look more like the G1 toy, that would be fun to do the digibash from.

 

Oh wow! Just recently I was really wanting a Red MP Sunstreaker/yellow Sideswipe. I blame the Basics On videos. That price tag is pretty hefty, but the only other Robot on my radar this year is Tigatron.

 

am i the onlly one who wishes or hopes the autobot insignia is a sticker? (don't shoot me!) i had the original just months before actual transformers showed up on shelves...was always a favorite - never had yellow sunny as a kid...just the "diakron" super tuning lp-500. hopefully someone will make add on shoulder rockets that aren't as puny

As a European I literally have no idea what to do! Does the US have something like Tenso that would enable me to buy from Hasbro, or best to stick to what I know with TT Mall/Tenso? Hmmmmmm

 

Weird thought: is it possible for the original Masterpiece Sunstreaker to swap heads between the cartoon face and the toy face on Spin-Out or Cordon?

Because I don't see what's stopping them from releasing a special edition of Masterpiece Sunstreaker that gives the G1 toy chrome hand missile and lets you swap between the cartoon head and shins and the G1 toy head and shins...

 

Yeah. It’s definitely possible. You can even take off the shin pieces.

 

Damn, that hadn't really registered with me until you pointed it out. That's a real shame. I made my own custom, but I'd love a full toy version with the toy Autobot logo and black windows. I guess it's not going to happen.
