Omega and Scorp almost make me wish i still collected titans

 

Scorponok is smaller then Fort Max and Metroplex. >_<
I miss his hand rotation.
The hollow leg part, 3rd party or fans will make fillers for it.
Also the vizor, fans will make a piece so we can slide it up.

Hell, I'm getting 2 of this guy and 2 fasttrack.  

 

This is truly impressive. I feel spoiled by Hasbro with these Titan class figures   Hopefully PvP will do Arcee soon, I need to know if I made the right decision pre-ordering her

Scorponok looks so dope. Probably the figure I'm most hyped for as of right now. I don't even mind the weird feet.

Anyone else liking Grapple a lot more after painting his helmet? Cause I did that on my day off and he pops now.

 

Grapple's impersonation of Transmutate didn't exactly go over well with his fellow Autobots.

 

Well, glad to see Scorponok.

He's lots more partforming than expected but overall close to what I did expect. And I'm definitely glad that he is, as unless they pulled a miracle with it, it was a "most probably will skip" as it's never been a figure that appealed much to me. They didn't, so he's an official skip for me.

I can see some shared engineering with Omega, but overall it's a fairly stand up figure for what it is, considering that the original wasn't a very detailed figure. One aspect I don't like is how cheap looking the panels, and the parts like the big "guns" are, as they are completely empty bricks... reminded me of the big Duplo blocks that you can plug from one place to another.

Omega is to me, the best Titan they've ever made.

I never did manage to get a Metroplex so can't assess that one myself, but while I do like my Fortress Maximus, being a rehash and part remold, it sacrificed a LOT of things such as the legs internal "base" being virtually unusable, and the "wings" that are simply in the way with the arm mouvement. Trypticon was a quality check mess as I barely had it for an hour, as when I was taking it out of the box and stood it up for the first time, the leg ratchet snapped instantly and so, it was returned to the store within the same hour and never looked back.

The worst thing about Omega is the claw being out of transparent plastic. Aside that, I think the biggest peeve some have is that the tank is a bit big, especially in relevance to the tracks.

The joints were also tweaked a little bit. He's much more stable when posing now.

 

Dang Skorp is so much bigger than Metroplex. That looks nice. I am so tempted to get the guy who usurped Galvatron but that base mode, in a line devoted to bases, just isn’t cutting it.

 

I had Optimus delivered today, Thank you Best Buy for having it available online and offering free overnight shipping too! Since I'm not going anywhere for extraneous reasons, bot hunting online is the way to go. I did go by WalMart the other day out of necessity and they had an Optimus, but the packaging was destroyed and the figure was loose inside. I wanted this figure but that I wasn't that desperate to buy a damaged box at full price, especially with the risk of being contaminated.

I appreciate the figure having its own solution to the truck mode kibble on the trunk.


It just pops right off. I have the partsformation alternative to give Prime a more trim silhouette.
