A tiny bit. What you see in my photo is the extent of the side to side. He can look up and down like a champ, open his mouth and move his horns so I’m satisfied with the emotive capabilities of the head in Minotaur mode.

 

Thanks for the clarification, more neck rotation would obviously be better but it has enough to not look rigid.

 

one day, when I get him, I'll have him smash down with Smashdown so My headcanon name of Smash-down can be meme sauce.

 

I finally found Smashdown last week and was planning to do the same. First time I transformed him the little bull head snapped right off. Hopefully I’ll find another.

I think this is the only GT figure I’ve handled aside from IDW Optimus and the legends scale G1 Optimus. Those are both quite a bit older and it shows. Red Bull is quite refined in comparison. I’m really enjoying it overall.

The transformation seems more complicated than it needs to be but not in a bad way if that makes sense. It’s not aggravating or hard or poorly designed, just...I found myself thinking several times “Oh wow that needs to move too?” It’s pretty fun. My only trouble was figuring out how the horns stow away in bot mode, which is ingenious and should be incredibly obvious but my brain was all derped out after a full day in the data mines.

Aside from the pleasing mechanics and great quality he just looks so damn good in all modes. I even like the grinning pudgeface. I give this one two horns up.

 

Oh, that hurts my soul to hear. At Least Hammer mode should still function. Wish you luck on finding another!

As has been pointed out, the bull head does turn a little bit. I kind of missed it. But it's probably only about 5 degrees to either side.

I was a bit surprised that he could stand on the tiny rear bull legs in minotaur mode (it's basically the bull mode with the robot arms transformed):

 

I totally forgot I had a Bad Cube Sideswipe until late yesterday. Maybe it's not saying much, but I think Red Bull's head sculpt looks better than BC Sideswipe's.
