Giving them a benefit of doubt due to them listening to the Sonic complaints and changing the design. Also, that Dora movie was surprisingly faithful to Dora.

I agree with the cautiousness though.

I mean, if the ingredients are rotten, the cake will not be good.

Well...crap. this does not bode well for GIJoe. Remember what happened with Retaliation? That movie was booted down 8 months and screwed toy distribution over. Target and Walmart had movie sets planned and had to scrap them last second, put them on clearance and resulting in nearly no toys on the shelf for when the movie DID hit...of course, the movie didn't exactly light a fire under the product that was left, either. But the line could have survived one bullet but the double tap killed it.

This is starting to sound like deja vu...

That was due to adding the 3D treatment in post-production in an attempt to boost ticket sales in the international market.

This time around, movies tied to Hasbro are being delayed due to reasons beyond their control instead of a gimmicky cashgrab(Retaliation 3D treatment).

While the cause may be different, the effect, I fear, may be the same.

I'm really glad to hear that TLK's performance didn't scare them away from making Transformers movies. They took some time to reevaluate the series, but it still seems to be a priority for them. So far we've heard about three Transformers films in the pipeline. The future for the movies series is looking very interesting. While I respect and enjoyed seeing Michael Bay's take on the brand, it kind of got to the point where we knew what to expect from his movies. At this point we have no idea what these filmmakers will bring to the table. Paramount is learning that Transformers is bigger than Bay. The series is evolving in a really interesting way, and I'm hyped as heck to experience it.

I just hope they don't get ahead of themselves again. They need to take each movie one at a time and make each one the best it can be. They can certainly connect them and think ahead, but I hope they don't fall into the same trap as they did with the writer's room back in 2015. They don't need to plan out 20 movies at a time, they need to make these three great. Here's to hoping they prioritize quality over quantity.

Golding has also assured us that Snake Eyes will show his face and presumably talk, neither of which the character is exactly renowned for doing.

"But it's NEW and DIFFERENT and therefore AWESOME!" said somebody who hadn't seen it either after chastising a detractor for not having seen it.

For crying out loud, some people would leap into a fire a fourth time because, hey, getting burned the last three times doesn't mean it'll happen _this_ time.
