Cool, I'm always up for Diaclone releases. Spinout was Sunstreaker's original working name so that's where Omnigonix got it in the first place.
While most fans know that Microchange and Diaclone are not the same thing, it's shorthand to refer to any pre-TF exclusive deco as "Diaclone". Even at the height of my anal retentiveness I wouldn't correct someone who said something like "Diaclone Chop Shop" because 2 seconds of reading comprehension at most would get both people arriving at the same destination.
Lol. So will Omnigonix have the balls to sue Takara-Tomy for stealing the name they gave to their third party version of TT's figure?
Are that many people confused as to where the Omnigonix name originally came from? Wow! I hate to be a Debbie Downer but my guess is that Takara gave the "+" number to this guy because they have no plans to do a yellow Diaclone repaint. I think they're expecting people to buy this and swap the head and shins onto the yellow MP-39 if they want a toy looking bot. But that won't change the alt mode. I prefer the toon look but I was hoping for a toy version of yellow Sunstreaker for alt mode display. And I also sympathize with toy look fans who were waiting for a proper yellow Diaclone repaint. Hopefully I'm wrong and an MP-39++ comes out later! I was also waiting for the CR-01 red repaint and I'll be buying this for sure to go with Cordon. It's a fantastic mould. And I LOVE that they didn't put the Autobot logo on the hood.
Small wonder people would be confused when posters who do know, choose to make unhelpful statements like this, rather than clarify. Wow!
Oh wow, this actually has a decent car mode. See, these are the kind of paint apps and details that should have been on Sunstreaker. And it should have come with that alternate toy head too. Maybe one day. Yeah, me too.
The only thing I wish is it wasn’t a separate character because that means I still have to get Sunstreaker
Adding best angle-match-pic I can find, of the real Sideswipe (well, a model of the real Sideswipe): (I don't know ANY countach that has the periscope recess painted black*, that bit seems to be purely "Takara wanted to add a sticker just because")---but it kinda makes sense, could paint it black to reduce glare going into the prism assembly *well, besides all-black Countaches...
Uhhh.... The thread is only 9 pages long and this has come up several times. Maybe just read a few pages? Sorry but it's a huge pet peeve for a lot of us when people refuse to do any reading and just enter a thread and ask the same question that's already been answered many times. This was answered twice on THE FIRST PAGE OF THE THREAD. Sorry but if you can't be bothered to read the first page of a thread to find out what the thread is about, don't bother joining the discussion. This is from page 1:

Because you're always lauding the superiority of Takara while bashing Hasbro, to varying degrees of agreement and disagreement from other fans, and here's one instance where I'm in full agreement with you. Hasbro really screwed things up by switching the names and colors and creating a situation where the bios make no sense.
