Omnigonix Spinout looked fine. It was the production quality that was ass. Aesthetically, he was the best aesthetic match to MP Sideswipe on the market.
At least he has the trim. Wouldn't the toy show had been in the beginning of May. Kind of anticlimactic, but I'll take it. Maybe we can get a 48 or 45 + as a general release before the end of the year.
That car mode, they pulled it from my fever dreams... black trim on the windows and sides... I need to be excused for a minute.
As a Diaclone MP collector, this makes me very happy. Though I’m starting to notice how much red there is in the Diaclone MP line between Road Rage, Red Bee, Delta Magnus, Exhaust, etc.

Yesssss! We’re finally getting an official Spinout! I have the 3P one but he’s about to be replaced! I only collect the new Diaclone new characters in MP now, so this is a huge win! I was starting to think they weren’t doing anymore Diaclone.... Also note that Spinout (or Spin-Out) has been a fan name for years since it was Bob Buduansky’s original name for Sunstreaker. Now we just need the yellow Cliffjumper to become Blow-Out.... Deepcover and a new character Black Ironhide are all that’s left out of the existing molds, right?
I really want one of these for car mode, but they haven't been making a lot of Mall exclusives lately, so the prices haven't been as great for the last two, if you can find one on Yahoo jp. Its oodles of streaks though.
I do find it funny to see Takara use the name Omnigonix used for their Sunstreaker. I know it won't be a problem for 99% of the people, but I do feel sorry for the one or 2 people who make that inevitable mistake down the road. (I have read through the thread and know the 1P origins of the name now, that doesn't change my first thoughts at all) Some people have adopted anything that isn't from the Transformers fiction (Bumblebee has never been red anywhere but the G1 toy within Transformers as far as I know) into a "MP Diaclone" collection.
