Both kits are great and take good figures and make them great.

 

Great, now Sentinel's accessories will be better-painted than he is.  

I'm still hoping a 3rd-party makes an upgraded KO where part of the roof detaches to become the shield, leaving him with smaller cape/wings in bot mode. Would be a win-win!

The bee part seems a bit big or unwieldy. Something seems off. The sentinel and blackout parts look awesome. I may purchase this is no other one turns up for sentinel. But blackout needed wrist swivels. Makes no sense to not put them in.

 

They really looked at the awkward, ridiculous positioning of Blackout's hands and said: "This is fine. Don't need to change that."

 

That's great that they are making a kit for Blackout from back in wave 1, makes me wonder if they'll do kits for other earlier figs. I'd still like some back thrusters for Starscream and a face gun for Lockdown.

 

Okay this is cool but I just want the Blackout parts.

Those Bumblebee parts are hilariously stupid, as is the replacement hands for Blackout. The problem wasn’t the unarticulated fingers, it was the orientation, and it’s still wrong here. The only decent Blackout add on is the rotor, but it’s only compatible with the shit hands included.

The Sentinel weapons though? Badass, especially the ability to clip the old swords underneath. Just a shame you have to buy a bunch of useless crap along with them.

 

Seeing how I don’t have the Bee or Blackout, I’m only in it for the Sentinel parts....

 

No way does the Blackout hands not have swivels. Maybe its not showing in the pics? or they can improve it before release, not much helpful with articulated hands at the wring angle

Huh. The shield's proportions and overall shape/paint isn't quiet as accurate as I would have liked.



Still, I'll most probably be getting it.

 

It would mostly be effort on my part but OK. All you'd need to do is pay me a chunk of the price+shipping and I send you the parts.

I'm wondering if they can be installed "upside down" at least? So that they can face upwards and still be able to use the rotor? It is hilariously stupid that they managed to design all new hands and didn't address the main problem with the originals...

 

I really hope they’re working on an upgrade kit for SS movie 1 Megatron. As cool as that figure is It’s in desperate need of 3rd party upgrades. A new more accurate torso, bigger shoulders and Megatron’s gun would all make the figure look so much better.

 

Surprised they didn't add the wrist swivel on blackout. Usually they're so good about fixing the core issues of figures with their kits......

 

definitely getting these for my kids, will be pre-ordering two sets one for each kid. Robotkingdom has it up for pre-order along with Big Convoys huge blaster !
