Just reached Master Rank 100 in MHW Iceborne. Been a long time coming. Took awhile as I didn't really wanna grind Guiding Lands. Was trying to get Raging Brachydios mats and next thing I know the quest for Ruiner Nergi pops.

Me, the Boy, and our severed head friend visited a massive corpse in the snow, dislodged a mallet the size of a fucking skyscraper in order to get a piece of this dead giant's chisel. We were set upon by a pair of Norse Demigod frat-bros (Thor's sons, Magni and Modi) and I kicked their asses and sent Thor's favorite son to an early grave (Modi fled like the scared little bitch he is)

 

She did really exceptional tonight.

What we meant by two more bosses was the Tyrant twice, in the lab and then on the helipad. He is who you want the magnum for.

Well, maybe a few shots for the Chimeras too, at least in the first room she will have to bring the explosive gel to.

 

Oh man, I did like three allied races from 20-110 in a week with these phat boosts. And as Alliance my war mode bonus was 25% so that helped too.

I also took the time to get my BFA Pathfinder now that the reputation boost is active. Man, that changes the levelling experience in Kul Tiras so much it isn’t even funny.

 

Oh yeah 2 fights. I think we can finish it out next week!

 

After finishing Doom 2016, I started a game that I got for my birthday back in March but hadn't gotten around to playing yet, Rise of the Tomb Raider. I really enjoyed the Tomb Raider remake so I was looking forward to this one.
I'm a couple of hours into it at this point, and it's been a while since I played the first one so I had forgotten how raw and visceral the combat in these games is. It really makes you feel like Lara is making do with whatever she can scrounge up, while the similar Uncharted series has a different feel to it.

I didn't like the bear encounter near the beginning, though. Kinda frustrating. Once it had me down I was basically screwed.

 

I'm about 72% done with Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

 

So I accidentally deleted my GTA III savefile (after where I actually beat the game) so now I'm doing some of the missions over again. Some are much easier the second time around, like the one where you have to bloe up those three vans.

 

A little further into Golden Deer route of Fire Emblem but I need to get off my ass and finish the FF7 Remake. I stopped playing not because I dislike the game, but because I'm dreading having it end and waiting who knows how long for the next one.

 

That's a big reason why I didn't start. I think the best way for me (personally) to experience the game is to wait until it's complete in some collectors edition.

 

I'm figuring that will be the case depending on how many times Hanna ends up having to redo the carrrying the nitro bit since even I suck at that section.

I mean, if she found the boulders to be that frustrating, that part is going to be worse.      

 

Oh damn, I've forgotten about that sequence entirely. Maybe it's not that bad on her difficulty since there won't be all that many monsters?

 

What I recommend doing is clearing out all of the Chimeras in that first area (I think there might be five of them) when she goes in there to grab the empty capsule so that they won't be an issue when she comes back. Go save. Then go fill up the nitro, and then go into the place and drop it off. Go save. Then head to the control area in the back of the Chimera area. It's also where one of the MOD discs get inputted in too, so she can kill that at the same time.

 

Didn't think of that. After this Warrior I'll go and get the WoD Pathfinder now instead.

 

I played through the PSP remake of MMX today Maverick Hunter X. I forgot how easy that version is. There's a few changes I like, such as adding some personalities to the Mavericks, but for the most part, it's inferior. Not that it being inferior is a bad thing because it is hard to really top the original MMX game. I still wouldn't mind it if they ported it over to the PS4.

 

The rep boost doesn’t affect WoD reputations - only Legion and Battle for Azeroth. There have been whispers that come Shadowlands, pathfinder for WoD-Legion-BFA is going to become available as default due to the level squish and new levelling directions.

But if you are going to get WoD pathfinder, make sure you get handynotes for the treasures - they’re a pain in the dick to find otherwise.

 

Yeah I heard about Shadowlands thing. But I was only planning to do it now since you get a mount in the end lol...and it would of really helped during the Draenor leveling part if I was looking to level another one.

 

F-Zero GP Legend. The difficulty spikes in the story mode are off the charts.

Me, the boy, and our dismembered head raided Týr's vault (what was with that Indiana Jones shit?) Now that Atreus knows he's part god, he's become just a little jerk (can someone tell me if he stops being a pain in the ass? I miss the old Atreus) and he just went and Aggro'd a mini boss (after slaying a god for literally no reason).
