so far it's just "we're busy with something coming up", he's keeping it locked down.

 

Damn, wonder when the announcement will be. Would be nuts if it's on May 4th. Star Wars day and the debut of the last episode of TCW.

 

Another series makes a ton of sense:
D+ needs content, Star Wars content is food
They already dumped money and time perfecting the skills and tech to animated this universe, might as well use it
Filoni sounds like he enjoys the format

 

I have to imagine there is some truth to that Rebels continuation. That dangling plot thread of finding Ezra and Thrawn just begs to be continued in some fashion. I think we’re going to see a lot more post-ROTJ content now that the Sequel Trilogy is finished, and The Mandalorian is obviously already exploring this point in time as well.

 

We can only speculate. I made a thread about it back in January but an unconfirmed leak is all we know of outside of just "We're making another animated show" Star Wars: Rebels untitled sequel series

They need to drop something and soon. I only subscribed for new Marvel and SW content. Old Disney/Fox content holds no real interest to me as the movies I like or would want to watch I already own. Like I said in the D+ Thread, once CW finishes up I'm out until something new drops.

based on his cool design and awesome personality, especially shown in CW, my vote is for Plo Koon

 

Absolutely Plo Koon.

You know, the mark of a good show is making us care about characters and things we know are destined to go away. We all know how the Clone Wars ends, but I still really don't want Order 66 to happen. I still, subconsciously, end up rooting for the good guys to win knowing full well they do not.

Kinda sucks but it's kinda cool at the same time. Again, makes me want an elseworlds-esque series where Anakin doesn't go bad and Sidious loses, or at least deals with his plan failing, and whatnot. Especially how Luke and Leia would grow up with, y'know, their actual parents, and how the Jedi and GAR would be dealt with having been unwitting pawns in Sidious' master plan that never came to fruition.

So Darth maul fighting in this is actually Ray Park again. No wonder the fight looks so good.

 

So in less then a week it will be all over. Anyone else kind of wish they would save the last episode for the Friday after this one. Do not get me wrong I do not want to wait for these two episodes I would love to see them NOW but I do just want to savor the moment a little longer because after these two episodes it is over. I just want it to last a little longer.
