Yes!! Terrorsaur is my most wanted as well! I absolutely LOVED him and Scorponok in season 1 when I was a kid. Still sad they got killed off  

 

I’m liking the love for Terrorsaur in here but just hope the Japanese fans have the same desire for him.

I’d definitely prefer TT stay with S1. They’re the toughest to engineer by far and benefit most from their print style paint work. 3Ps have the other seasons covered for now and appear capable of doing a more than adequate job. A complete S1 cast is the dream and my primary goal though.

Wonderfest was the next hope for a second 2020 BW reveal so 8 wonder if TT will be content to just go with a magazine announcement or hold off until venues are open again- if there’s even anything to reveal.

 

I’m actually surprised that they didn’t do the Transmetals right from the start. Because of the robotic animal designs, there’s a lot less “cheating” involved (not that I’m complaining; I’m amazed at the work they’ve done with the organic animals).

 

Well dinosaur anything (yes, I know pterosaurs aren't technically dinosaurs...) typically sells really well in Japan, so I wouldn't rule it out, I'm also really hoping to see him (I voted for him on the survey!  ) Honestly, though I think we'll see some of the other "obvious" choices like Rhinox first, though we got the Generations one a few years back. Terrorsaur unfortunately seems like it would be the hardest to engineer--there's almost no place to store the legs and those big shoulder balls in the thin pterosaur frame--I shudder to think how expensive it might be.

Definitely!! In Japan, we got BW Season 1, but then BWII (which I absolutely loathed at first, mostly because it felt like such a huge step down from BW), so we were left with the S1 cliffhanger for a long time. It was a summer later that I was in the States, and bought Transquito at KayBee Toys (holla), which came with a video cassette of "Aftermath" and "Coming of the Fuzors (Part1)". Was soooo psyched to learn it was a continuation of where we'd left off. I learned two things that day: Airrazor is female, and Terrorsaur doesn't make it to the first commercial break of S2. I love S2 and S3, but it still stings.

I hope so too! I didn't realize how many people liked Tigatron until MP50, so maybe a similar effect will occur - esp if the figure looks as good as the rest have looked so far.

One of my favourite things to think about - how they might engineer the most cheat-filled yet arguably coolest transformations in S1.

Good catch! It's possible that @RodimusZero simply forgot to type it, but if he really wasn't among the options then chances are high that he'll be the next MP after Tigatron.

 

Big cat comes to pair with little cat so it makes sense that we’d get the big spider to scheme with/torment the little one.

This seems very soon after Blackarachnia though- relative to these releases which are actually so painfully sparse that I just slapped myself for even considering that anything Beast Wars related could ever come too soon!

Maybe TT just want to show off how different they’ve been able to make him in comparison to Blackarachnia after the beast mode complaints. Just like Tigatron I imagine she will have completely unique engineering. Man I love these things.

I’m all for a Tarantulas although I think he’s actually right at the bottom of my S1 Pred want list.
Any Pred is more than welcome in this collection though and any hint of a clue that we can latch onto that suggests another BW MP release on the horizon is a worthy speculation in my book.

Color palette wise, I'd rather get some different colors next (like red!) rather than another purple Pred.

 

Sorry yeah,   just forgot to type it! Tarantulas was on the list too, every Season 1 character.

 

With the pandemic I don't expect to see another BWMP revealed before the year is out and with release date often being 9-10 months after reveal that makes a new BWMP mould(excluding Tigatron of course) at least 18 months away. Is that too soon to put out Tarantulas after Blackarachnia... humm.. I don't really think so. Although I'd predict Rattrap or Waspinator over either of them both Tarantulas and Terrorsaur are high on my wish list.

 

I expressed this in the G1 thread but it's also pertinent here. With the announcement of both the Lio Convoy reissue and now MP-39+ Spinout I'm wondering if we'll see more reissues and repaints in place of new moulds while we work through this crisis? They require less development, design work, tooling etc etc.. and can be put out as short run/TTmail exclusives at a higher price point. It might be their strategy for protecting there business though these 'strange and unprecedented times'. `The upside for some of us might be we'll finally get a Dinobot or Megatron repaint? A Megatron or Blackarachnia reissue?

 

If we were getting repaints for MP41, we should have seen them by now after the Burning Convoy reveal

 

Agreed, my theory was (and it's only a theory) that things being as they are they might bring out some repaints they previously hadn't planed to do to make a quick buck. People have been crying out for a red Sunstreaker since before Dinobot's release, of course they got Cordon fast enough but they'd almost given up on the red version until now. This Spinout has reignited interest in a black or green Ironhide... I wonder if that will extend to Dinobot or Megatron. Personally i could not care less but it would be interesting to see.

 

At this point I think we won't be seeing any more MP repaints announced for this year.

Still though, we got 3 BW MPs this year (2 of which new molds), while there's only 1 new G1 bot at the very tail end of the year.

Hopefully next year will bring us another new Maximal and Predacon mold and perhaps a Flash Lio Convoy!

 

I'm inclined to agree. Arcee seems to be the full stop placed on the end of 2020.

Heh... yeah i guess we did, shame two of them are BWII and ones another repaint of Primal.

Flash Lio Convoy (with the Artemis mini figure we saw) has got to be a given. My money is still on Rattrap as the next new mould, however I can see it being almost anyone.
