Yeah, I ended up going back to DX9 and MS for my display. I’ll be keeping my metallic set though since it is still currently the best set imo

 

A little bit late to the show but for a Newage collection with DX9 Optimus Prime and the Doomseekers:



At the moment in my collection the DX9 Dinobots are in bot mode with the Newage Autobots, the MFT Dinobots are in alt mode with MFT/Papa Toys S3 Autobots.

Iron Factory Skyfire/Jetfire is taller than the DX9 Dinobots so he would also work well with in a Newage display with DX9 Dinobots, if you like your Skyfire/Jetfire taller than the Dinobots like I do.

thx, i'm considering trying to pick that up. though it's a figure that's no longer current so can't pick it up locally anymore. i'll have to resort to mail order.

perhaps i might as well get the BMB KO OS version instead, which can be had for even cheaper than the original hasbro. though i don't know if i want the bigger size.

 

Check your grocery stores. My Krogers still has some of the Slash repaint wave; which may suffice for you.

 

i have an extra slash if you are looking. i wont charge any crazy prices either for her.

 

is the the purple/yellow Cindersaur? yeah, i can find that locally for pretty cheap, but not sure i'm digging the colour combo. LOL if i get desperate, i may just do that and experiment with painting it.


does anyone know if they released this KO version with the new head mold and colour combo? really like the look of it.

Hey there everyone. So I have been in the market for a set of these Dinobots. I'm seeing a ton eBay, but from China though. Are those reliable? Obviously I know a North American seller would be better, but any leads would help as well!

 

I doubt any North American retailers have these right now, unless The Chosen Prime has the recent five pack in stock. It was cheap and sold out quickly at most of our reliable overseas favorites.

 

Actionrobo.com has the whole set.

Robotoybase has Slag, Sludge, Snarl and Swoop.

TFS-Express has the whole set.

 

hzj401 on ebay is a very trusted and reliable seller that a lot of board members have ordered off of multiple times. One of the best places to shop for 3p legends figures. Their full sets of the dinobots sold out recently, but they have snarl, sludge and slag available $20 each..

 

Does DX-9 still exist ? Or have the been re-branded I just was wondering what the situation was with spare parts and customers having QC issues like Missing pieces etc...

If one can't buy from a good retailer as they are sold out - do they have any brand presence still ? & if they do what is the situation with that brand and customer services ?

 

I just googled "Dx9 tfw" and clicked the most recent dated thread. Seems like they still have some figures coming out in the MP game. Haven't seen a legends from them in ages but maybe this helps if you go read around here.

there are quite a few guys selling loose dinos these days.

 

I believe they lost their design team due to disagreements over compensation. There are existing products still being sold, and if I recall correctly, DX9 pledged to return at some point in the future.

In regards to Legends and their War in Pocket line that featured them, again, they lost those designers over compensation. Ultimately, one or more of them went onto launch NewAge toys, which has continued to make figures similar in scale to the the WIP Legends of DX9.

 

One of my Legends class DX-9 Dinobots has two right hands - I was just curious if I could find a junker bot to get the hand or buy another one on it's own - it looks like the hands are a shared mould so it doesn't even matter which one.

 

but what bot is it? are we talking swoop, sludge, slag ect...
