I don’t know why but for quite a few releases I’ve been getting 100% of my import fees refunded from AJ. And yes it can take a month or more. I’m in Ontario so typically I pay 13% import fees and then get all of it back later. They either changed a law I’m not aware of or it’s some sort of glitch. It’s awesome!
So far I only have Tigatron order on Anime Export. But I'm concerned about the whole suspending EMS shipping.
Oh I see, EMS is suspended for the US, but you and I are in Canada which is not one of the listed countries.

Yeah. Being in Canada, I've personally gotten three packages via EMS within the last couple of weeks, no problem. Only difference being that there seems to be possibly an extra day's wait for processing, as tracking generally shows 4-5 days for delivery, whereas I usually see 2-4 days.
My wife works at Canada Post and she told me that Japan sent out a notice late last week saying they are not shipping out anything because there aren’t many available planes. But Nippon Yassan shipped me something EMS early last week so I’m curious to see if it makes it through. I suspect they may start shipping EMS by boat just to get it out.
What about China? I ordered Tansmutate from ShowZStore February 3rd. My latest notice, on March 10th, claims it left China. Canada post told me a while ago it shouldn't take this long to arrive to Canada, even during these pandemics. Any reason why I haven't received any updates yet?
My company uses JP Post for shipping a lot and I can confirm that they are still shipping to Canada. There could be some delays however. US is a nightmare though. They stopped shipping there on Friday. Everything that's been sent there in the last few weeks has been sitting at the airport here and they're saying those shipments could be delayed by up to 4 months(!) It's very possible that they'll suspend their service to Canada in the future but for now y'all should still be fine ordering stuff from Japan.
Thanks for that update! I just got my wife to double check and yes they are still shipping to Canada so sorry for the wrong info. But Canada Post is horrifically backed up so even if the parcels get to Canada it will take weeks to get to us. They are getting more parcels then they normally get at Christmas time and they don’t have extra contractor staff like they do at Christmas. Apparently the Toronto sorting facility has over 300 shipping containers of parcels waiting to get inside the building.
My guess is that it’s stuck in one of the 300 shipping containers outside the Toronto sorting facility. So it’s in Canada but has not been accepted into our postal system yet for sorting.
Ah, alright. Thanks. I expected a delay, but it's been two and a half months now and no word of it entering the country. It's hard to stay patient. Oh well, there are far, far worse things going on right now than me having to wait longer for a toy.

That is a very long time. ShowZ is a reliable seller as far as I know. Your package is most likely stuck in the system and will show up eventually.
Yeah, I've been in contact with them. Apparently I need to go 40 days without any update and they'll consider it lost. I went a while without an update, and then I had an update on the 10th of April saying it left China (which I had thought already happened). So... Just back to waiting.
