The one time I am glad Baba didn't ship mine out yet with this issue and the rising shipping cost. I can afford to wait a few months.

 

Finally unboxed mine and transformed him both ways last night. No problems to speak of, but I can't say I enjoyed the transformation as much as I expected having seen all the positive comments here. Solid figure, but am personally left a bit cold by him.

 

Apparently, my Sheridan thinks he’s a cool kid that doesn’t follow the trend.
Left knee is solid after transformation and a good deal of spinning and fiddling.
Right knee however, that’s more than a little loose, expect it to fall off shortly

 

Doesn't type the final period because the leg fell to the floor...

 

Too many people were complaining about him being too tall for a minibot - Solution, removable legs.

Just to balance out the samples, mines fine. No wobbly legs and I must have transformed it a good ten times now. Wasn’t even covered in lube!

Transformation is satisfying and really quite intuitive. opinion time, a good sample of this is a great toy, a bad one must be very frustrating.

 

Messaged my pre-order seller on Taobao about if the screw will come with it and he said that my order is 2nd run and they fixed the issue. Hope its true.

 

Ok, i just got Sheridan in from Baba without an email or tracking number( mind blown). I'm a little excited I got him but bummed that his leg will eventually fall off and did not get a new screw and will probably have to wait a month for it.

 

Same happened with me (eBay pre order from October or November). Only discovered it was on the way because I was in touch regarding something else. To be fair, he was able to just drop the tracking reference straight away so on his end it's all lined up etc.

 

Really? A second run of FT-41 Sheridan so soon? This just came out.

 

Geez is it always the anatomically left leg? At least from the pics I've seen so far that's the pattern, right?

 

You mean 2nd batch? I know for most sellers Sherdian comes in two batches. My seller's 2nd batch will come in May.

 

The probably cracked open some cases at the factory and did the rework

Nope, mine was the right leg. Left leg is fine, so far at least.

 

I'm glad that folks who get the second run won't have to deal with the issues the rest of us have had, but I can't say I'm happy about the fact that the first-run folks end up being guinea pigs.

I'm especially unhappy since the repair video from Paik4Life makes it seem like even after the fix, the left knee ends up being looser (and with what looked like a visible gap) than the right knee.

 

Anyone else still waiting on Baba store preorder to ship?

 

My Sheridan arrived today from @ShowZStore. So far so good. Left leg hasn't fallen off and the right knee bends no problem. Had a couple spots of oil on him but that's it. Looks great overall- but I will admit I hate the shoulders, though they're not a big deal on the shelf..

 

Yeah, I'm still waiting for mine to ship from Baba... Probably missed the first batch

My Taobao seller is saying they should have their preoders in stock around May 1. I wonder if that counts as the 2nd batch with the knees already fixed at the factory. I'll have to contact them.
