With the skinny legs he's feels like a big scout/sniper and with his team being Jets and the long barreled gun you could look at it as a sniper rifle. With the leg/skirt panel upgrades and change up the stance a bit. The gun is now has a plasma rifle/shotgun sort of feel to it. Two different looks and I think they both work quite well with this guy.

The Jet Commander set or the Zoffy upgrade? I'm a big fan of both 

 

What all parts did zoffy make for this? It looks great.

The grey pieces on the thighs, the solid red hip skirts and a red crotch extender piece to keep the new thigh parts in proportion.

 

Looks really good. I just noticed that you have the arms and legs switched, I think I like it better that way. My wife and I got this set for our son for Christmas, and the only thing that I thought could have been better was the legs were to skinny. Looks nice and beefy with zoffy's parts. I've got some of his parts on order for my Jinbao devastator.

Couldn't be happier with my upgrades from @ultraman zoffy! I got the head, chest and thigh upgrades (sounds like I went in for plastic surgery! LOL). I've digibashed them in preparation for painting later this summer.

 

In case anyone was interested, this is the actual diference between JJ and Wei Jang combiner ports. The ports are almost identical in their total length. The port layout is almost the same but not quite. And the peg holed are not the same.

You could, in theory, bore out some spare Wei Jang port heads and put them on the JJ guys. Then the JJ limbs can fit on the WJ torsos. That seems to be the easiest direction to take it.

This drives me crazy, because they are almost the same, but not quite. It is so close

I keep looking at this set, especially whenever this thread is updated. I already own the UW Superion, but this has the improvements for a CW combiner that I want. The thing that really keeps putting me off is that the Slingshot in this set is so not Slingshot in bot mode. It's primarily the head sculpt/deco, but the chest not being black doesn't help either. The UW version? The bot modes are spot on to the G1 toon, especially Slingshot. That jet mode on this is more accurate to a harrier though and a definite improvement. Sigh. So close.

It's funny how particular I am about Slingshot. When I was a kid, he was the lone Aerialbot we had, which was nice since he was the one that took the spotlight in the toon most of the time anyway. He's the reason I passed on the Zeta set. Head sculpt was all wrong there too.

 

You can do what I did.
Purchase a spare SkyDive and swap out the combiner port and hands.

 

@Manic Z It's not that I really llook for it, but the few times I did I only saw these figures as a set.

How much work was it to get those limbs to attach to the Zeta Shell? It looks cool, and does save what about $150 cost wise to built it this way instead of the 4 Zeta limbs?

About a day to measure things, 3D model the right adapters, and then test them out. Easy peezy.

 

Are you selling any of these? Parts or files? Tried looking online but didnt find anything
