    Thank you Doucoo.

From the conversations in here it would appear I am just a mere padawan in collecting.

I am only collecting transformers but seeing other toys from my childhood connected to the cartoons that others in here are collecting like He-man, Thundercats etc...takes me back (I also had Rock Lords, Gobots) the temptation is rather great to get in on the action but I will be strong and refrain from deviating from transformers. I must confess I did rather love Terrakawks, Visionaries and Dungeons and Dragons cartoons in the 80s and a number of you will know that Mr Cullen voiced the protagonist Venger (loved that character) in the D&D cartoon series.

Back to the transformers, I managed to sneak Siege Omega past the wife and get it displayed temporarily and this has gone unnoticed. However, she did see the second boxed Jetfire though as I had forgotten to put it away.

I buckled yesterday and put in an order at Indemandtoys for Siege Smokescreen and POTP Moonracer. I have the Jazz figure from POTP and I was not happy with the quality of it but hopeful Moonracer might be better (for £10.99 I won’t complain).

All my overseas China purchases seem to be doing the sights of Chinese provinces. Fingers crossed the tracking doesn’t reflect the reality of where the parcels are.

Just narrowly missed out on a sealed E-Hobby Ghost Screamer at a great price... Gutted isn't the word. :(

    Alas, these things happen!

If she does notice, just ask her how on earth would you get something like that in the house without her seeing? Lol.

Damn. You’ve now introduced me to another online site selling transformers.

    Nooooooooooo.

The delivery arrived whilst she was in the garden and I managed to quickly get it squirrelled (not sure one could use that word to describe hiding a 2 foot tall toy) away. I slipped up with the Siege Jetfire.

It is going to get very interesting when the Dx9 Gabriel appears from China. I believe that in bot mode is another 3 inches taller than Siege Omega plus weighs 5.6 kilos. Close to 6 kilos including boxes and packaging. This will test my skills of matrimonial chicanery. ;) :D

My god the last Ducktales was so absolutely insanely completely wow.
You think "hey they always delivered when introducing concepts, stories or characters so yeah they're gonna do Daisy right." and then they just make it perfect. She and Donald made me emotional and I wasn't ready.
    But damn I love it.

    Random thoughts on upcoming figures...

Double Dealer - While I'm not actually interested in storing Knok or Skar, they might prove useful either covering up DD's head in rocket-launching mode or just as added scenery.

Might buy another DD when the price drops for bird mode. Apparently the early images and videos didn't have him fully transformed correctly.

Netflix Megs - Honestly thinking about getting another one for tank mode if I'm swayed, I like the videos so far. The extra effects pieces are always welcome plus an extra Pinpointer to run around Omega or whatever.

ER Megs - They're bound to do something with him, right? I'm genuinely hoping for something approaching an Earth tank since it's yet another Megs. I mean apparently there's sorta re-deco coming after this one and Netflix FFS.

Sky Lynx - Going into base mode and connected to Omega and a few Ironworks with all the Soundbarriers lol

Scorponok - In base mode is there capacity for all the attachments like the original? Like in my avatar?

Fasttrack - Dying to see what can be done with him!

Airwave - has the worst photos and videos, I want to see more of him to try and work out if he's the new Ironworks in army building terms!

Arcee - I doubt I'll even transform her, maybe just remove the backpack. But who knows.

Runamuck - He can't actually be as bland as he looks, can he?

Snapdragon - Not sure what to think of him at the moment, I think he'll look much better in hand. Hope so anyway.

Those Batman figures look amazing! I've never read Metal and probably never will, but that tactical suit look might be a must...

Is earthrise Megatron confirmed? I knew about the Netflix one and was considering it as I detest the colour of the previous Megatron. But if there’s another then that’s more difficult.

Yeah, we've seen him rendered, and he appears to have a G2-inspired headsculpt and a rather janky bit of partsforming on the turret gunbarrel that looks suspiciosly like you'll need him to properly complete Fasttrack's "staff" weapon mode into a proper Tyrant Spear for Scorpy.

So I've been going back and forth on actually finishing off my OS Dinobots with their G1 secondary weapons, as I've always dug them but they haven't often gotten depicted (IIRC only Sludge had a couple of appearances with his electron cannon before they swapped it out and settled on a blaster modelled on his missile launcher for the most part) and, DAYUM, do they get expensive to complete! I'm still vacillating over whether to snag Snarl's, and possibly Grimlock's, as well as picking up the Sludge gun I skipped out on last Shapeways order as he already has the stock one that's a hybrid of his missile launcher design and Slags electron cannon repainted but Slag?
Well his G1 rocket launcher would just be a ballache to adapt, and the Shapeways option ain't the cheapest. Then I remembered his G1 Function: FLAMETHROWER.
And a wee fanmode-ing I'd tried out on his POTP forebear came back to mind, one which works out even better now - with BMB Dinogats to spare he doesn't lose his electron cannon to form...

    ...A HANDY HANDS-FREE FLAMETHROWER BACKPACK!!!
    DSC_0046.JPG DSC_0047.JPG DSC_0049.JPG
Way more economical to boot, though *Crap!* the additional secondary weapon means I still might have to fork out for further arsenalling for the rest of the team now! Urgh!

Transformers War for Cybertron: Earthrise Voyager Megatron

That's the first time I've actually seen the tank mode, I really like it.

When you start looking at your collection and considering the dreaded "when will I be done?" it is really easy to start picking out where you have a stand in or a fix or something doesn't look quite right. Crazy that after so long we still have a number of small holes in the collection or areas where we might wish for a better figure. Having said that, some areas are very nicely done with a common aesthetic that fit together.

So the 1984 minibots. Hmm I wonder what stands out here! The first 4 look fine together, even the recent Cliffjumper, but we still have a stand in Huffer (as I am not using the Optimus repaint), and Bumblebee - well I still love the classics mold, and nothing really has come close in terms of recent figure. Would I use a different one? Yes if the aesthetics worked, but it is just annoying that we are not there yet.

I'm in for Spawn and the ninja variants so far... I just like the look, I wasn't blown away by the game at all after loving X. Hope the next one focuses more on what's happening on-screen than endless loadout tinkering!

In an interview on the old IDW forums, Simon Furman said he intended IDW1 Cybertron to orbit Shaula (though technically that's a system of stars). That never made it to the page, though, so can't be considered canon.
