Soundblaster is a reprogrammed Autobot protoform, constructed by Classicsverse Megatron as a replacement for the long-deceased Soundwave.

TLK I completely agree. I actually didn’t think AoE was that awful....until it got to the 3rd act in China. If the climax had been the fight in Chicago and then it ended I think it would have been much better.

Sam didn't actually die from Cemetary Wind, but instead lived a long and happy life with Carly detached from the rest of the conflict just like he wanted in the first place.

Also, the Bayverse Autobots are the real villains.

Optimus Primal's name is actually Primal Convoy(to fit in with the Japanese Convoys in the Beast Era), with "Optimus" being a nickname Rattrap gave him because of his personality.

Transformers can be "choked" to death.

Though it seems awfully humanistic, compressing the neck area of a normal Cybertronian can result in their death. To allow for head movement, the area is lightly plated. Squeezing this area presses down this light, slightly loose armor, kinking the Energon lines and spark relays going from the chest area to the brain module in the head. This causes the brain module to run out of power, destabilizing the spark and ending the life of the victim.

This is a good way to explain this scene (and any other scene where something similar happens-I'm sure this can't be the only example).

I like to imagine SOME characters as being the same characters as a similar character with the same name from another continuity. Emphasis on SOME. Not everyone. Its a case by case basis.

So for example, Prime Huffer and Trailcutter would actually be their G1 namesakes having crossed dimensions to the Prime universe. But no, I don't want Prime Bumblebee to be the same character as G1 Bumblebee. Prime Bumblebee would be native to the Prime universe and was never G1 Bumblebee nor would ever become G1 Bumblebee from any G1 continuity.

The purpose is just to expand upon both characters storyline from the different continuities by merging them together as one character. I'm perfectly fine with dimension hopping and characters taking on a new appearance when they do. Prime Huffer and Prime Trailcutter do still exist, they just aren't native to the Prime universe and there aren't any Prime universe counterparts running around either. Toy pictures shown as these two have never been depicted in fiction.

I thought he was trying to compress the neck so that he can pop his head clean off. It even gets handwaved in IDW1 by Starscream when Windblade tries it.

Transformers and particularly fliers and scouts are made of an alloy that, while resistant to laserfire and most environment hazards, is particularly susceptible to concussive force and high-velocity rounds. Balistic weapons are particularly rare and specialized on Cybertron since Energon-powered weaponry is the norm and all. Besides that it's seen as wasteful by most of society because of the overall size each bullet has to be, plus the need for a propellant material (most commonly energon, because of it's volatile properties in every other episode).

The movie universe goes a different in a different course for me.

    - At the end of DOTM Optimus dies after defeating Sentinel and Megatron.
    - Ultra Magnus who is was leader of the Wreckers and Optimus Prime's brother in arms becomes the new leader (Also he has the Knight Prime design)
    - Galvatron was an empty shell that only thought it was Megatron. When the events of TLK take place he is upgraded and is is given a spark. He still is not the real Megatron though.

The transformers express breathy sounds and bubbles are regularly shown coming from their mouths underwater. They can be choked to death.

How's this make sense? Clearly the Transformers sparks/Energon must give off some sort of exhaust right? It comes out of their mouth. They recycle the heat and air in order to vocalize through their voicebox. When they burn extra fuel in a panic moment/fight their voices become 'breathy' from the extra exhaust. When they get 'strangled' it's exactly like putting a potato in an exhaust pipe.

Amusingly enough, near the end of my days collecting G1 (before I started to go all out on TMNT, Lego and Micro Machines) Hot Rod led a small contingent of Autobots against a Flea Market/ Yard Sale acquired Baron Karza (not knowing who I had, I didn’t know that I had a leg from Andromeda acting as Karza’s Head) since back then I didn’t have Galvatron, Megatron meant I would have to keep track of his parts and I was already then wishing for a more imposing Megatron and Starscream also meant keeping tabs on his parts........now, those odd days are in my Lore, as Karza is recognized as Decepticon Leader (sadly, Karza is long gone, unless I find another for cheap but more complete or Hasbro succeeds where SOTA failed and makes a new Baron Karza, he won’t be making any returns to challenge Megatron for leadership)........also back then my Decepticon Army was Megatron, Starscream, Ramjet, Soundwave, Blitzwing, the Consructicons, The Insecticons, Weirdwolf.......nowhere as numerous as now (now, counting Predacons, RID, Vehicons, Unicron Trilogy and Generations, is more than a match for the Autobots, with Megatron in command)

Right now I may have Super Megatron come from the distant Future or a Alternate Universe, be of course more powerful than Megatron’s Current self (thanks to residual Unicron Power and Dark Nova).....not sure if he’ll usurp command from his current self or be a 3rd Party (like a Decepticon Splinter Force consisting of BW Skyshadow, Demolisher, Bisk, Quilfire, Thunderhoof, Shortround, Quickstrike, Tarantalus, Terrorsaur, Waspinator, Gigant Bomb and Smokejumper (RID Smokescreen and Dreadwing), or be a full wild card

Transformers do breathe, but not for the purpose of respiration like earth life does. Rather, its part of their cooling system like a computer's fans. Transformers brains and nervous systems are semiconductors so heat is very much their enemy. When exhausted they even make a noise like a fan in overdrive and some workaholic types pound back liquid coolant like espresso.

Not a particularly serious one but since it was stated Shattered Glass Optimus sounds like Peter Cullen's Venger, SG Megatron sounds like Frank Welker's Fred from Scooby-Doo.

Riffing on my earlier post and borrowing vigorously from my favorite author, here's some more Cybertronian thermal regulation head canons:

If cryogenic solutions are their caffeine addictions, then it stands to reason that hot liquids are the alcohol equivalent. This is how Maccadams Oil House works then. Intentionally heated motor oil to make your processors feel warm and fuzzy. Some see it as a big waste while others swear by it. Transformers can't forget anything, but they can at least stop thinking about their problems for a little while.

The more boneheaded way to get inebriated is to intentionally short circuit yourself. The extra power makes you feel like you're full of energy while the heat waste makes processing harder so bad ideas don't seem so bad. It's also very dangerous. Small enough extra current and you'll swear you can see Primus. Overshoot it and you really will meet him.

Finally on the subject of drugs and transformers are programmers and their shell codes. These don't change the core coding of the Cybertronian mind but run over it to change sensory input and reactions. On the positive side are patches like the ones that allow Red Alert to live with their PTSD inflicted paranoia/ over sensitive IFF algorithms. On the negative side is Tarantulas using shell codes to brainwash protoforms. Shadowplay is even worse as it involves deep scans to permanently change the internal coding of the transformer in question and once something is gone, there's no getting it back.

Transformers can still die from sufficiently cold temperatures but there is an order of ascetics who travel to the coldest parts of Cybertron and shut off as many operations as they can to dedicate their full processing power to solving life's greatest questions. Most people thinks its pretty weird, but there's still a history of them journeying to these desolate places to see what answers have been found. Quantum computing monks!

Prowl is the coolant addict, Ratchet loves his hot oil, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker have tried shorting and Mainframe lives as a supercomputer on top of some high mountain.
