This has been pretty much the case for anything from ShowZ that they shipped out from January - March. They shipped my pre-ordered XTB Gravestone on January 7th, got stuck in Shanghai airport for several weeks, then got reassigned a new tracking number and was finally delivered around March 20th.

 

I got Metallic Grassor in from Terry's TF Club, shout out to @StrangeAeons again for pointing me in their direction! I don't know if it was under weight/size restrictions or what but I got it in about 10 days. Given all that's going on I'm really happy with that! Beast of a figure!

 

I don't think anything will ever dethrone that copy of chrome grassor I got as my most hated 3p figure ever (although that badcube pipes came close).

This though, this fills me with joy and I'm in for the lot now.
The face sculpt isn't right, the nose should extend a bit lower i think, and I wish the eyes were interchangeable, blue eyes silver shouty face isn't an option without painting them myself.
Minor nitpicks aside I love it.
Phone camera makes it look lighter and you can't pick out the wash anywhere near as well as in hand sadly.

Edit, the heads I have all have a wash applied over the whole surface. It doesn't photograph well on my phone but is fully evident in hand.

 

My weathered Grassor is still stuck in Limbo somewhere...

Odd...Chrome Grassor is the figure that pulled me into the Gigapower dinobots. I had the weathered version for a day and did not care for, connect with it, so I sold it immediately. Cool to have different takes for different tastes.

 

My grassor hasn’t updated since 3/29. Thinking it’s sitting in an airport waiting to make it into a plane. My gutter got here last week.

 

Congrats man! He is super nice. I felt the same way about my chrome, specifically the damn head sculpt. I was never happy with it and weathered one cures that. I was disappointed that I could not get the heads separately, but that’s marketing and that’s how these companies stay viable. Haha. So I took his additional heads and replaced the ones on my chrome and metallic grassor and now they look pretty cool and much better than the chunk cheeks head sculpt.

 

So I absolutely am not up for replacing my dinobots nor do I need a second set but I'm really enjoying seeing all these pics of the weathered ones. They look phenomenal! I look forward to seeing many more pics from you guys.

I think your phone camera does it more justice than you think. It looks great. Out of curiosity, why do you hate chrome Grassor? Mine finally arrived about a week ago and I love him! Is it just the head or was there something else?

I'm curious - for those who've used weathered Grassor's head on their chrome version, how does it look? Can you upload pics? He comes with a second head, right? Is the spare head black, and if so, is anybody willing to sell me theirs?

 

I think the new heads rule! IMHO. 

 

The hate was very much coloured by my copy being a disaster, so it was more hate of my copy. It had loose joints that I couldnt resolve, could barely stand, polystyrene imprints in the chrome, chipping out of the box and paint flaking after a few weeks.
I had it posed and the arm joints started to fail, cracks appeared in the tail hinges. I didnt like the dino mode or the tail on the back of the legs in bot mode either.
So a couple of things  

The tail still bugs me, but dino mode has grown on me since.

 

I really hope Giga come through and release a heads upgrade set. Those original face sculpts are pretty poor (especially Swoop) but these new ones have been fantastic so far

 

I like the sculpts of the new Grassor heads, but di not lIke the grey color of the non-red heads (though I know this goes with the weathered theme). If they were black, I would like them/buy the heads.

 

What did you hate about chrome Grassor so much?
I feel the same about Badcube Pipes as well as Badcube Huff 2.0. They just did not feel like premium 3P MP minibots to me.

That head sculpt on weathered Grassor looks nice.

 

If anyone wants to sell their chrome grassor let me know

 

A reissue is up for pre-order on ShowZ if you can't find a good second hand one.

 

Finally got a tracking update on my weathered Grassor. Should be on a plane to the US in the next day or so.

 

Mine updated to arrived at the Shanghai airport.

A month after getting my tracking number... 

 

Will you be re-producing the flame effect accessories that came with the first run the GP dinos? Flame sword piece, flame dino feet, etc?
