He looks like a Hybrid of his Evergreen Design and his FoC Design.

Comments like this feel no different than the gripes the geewunners used against the designs the Bay Fans liked. It feels like then neither side can accept each other and try for a more hybridized Evergreen look. Bay said the designs were unrealistic and impossible, but then the thing comes down to Pacific Rim doing designs that were smooth and worked but then the Live Action Fandom just wants to gripe because their series that was apart of their childhood has been attacked, just like the fans of 1984 were back in 2007 since much like now, the Bay fans are being eschewed by not just the new focusing heads of this movie, but by even the voice actors who said their home and friends are G1 and that's what they like doing more. It's not different than how Bay ignored the fans back from 1984 to 2006. Before you go saying I'm a Geewunner, I grew up during the Unicron Trilogy and the Live Action Movies. The series I favor the most is the comics because they filled holes the movies and cartoon couldn't.

As much as I wanna love this guy, I don't dig some of the elements, such as the yellow spines along Grimlock's back, they just seem like an arbitrary edition.

Nice. Grim's been more realistic a number of times, but never in plastic.

I would absolutely love to get this, but it's not a rabbit hole I want to go down. Seeing their entire line makes me really want to dive in. These would have been perfect at half the size and half the price. I know they're working on a smaller line, but the poses aren't as good. They really could have just released the exact same statues in a smaller scale and I would've eaten each one up.

    EDIT
Screw it, I think I'm just going to impulse buy it. I can talk myself out of the fact that I won't be getting Starscream or Megatron, and probably even Optimus. But I went on their website and they don't ship to the US. Anyone in North America have any recommendations on a good retailer to buy this from?

So with shipping this thing will end up around $2400

    you still feeling impulsive? Jk.

I want him but then I think - it’s just a statue and I can’t move it around. Or who will he display with? I’d have to get Optimus at least

I\'m not digging this, but as a chug collector this also isn\'t for me, and I\'m glad the dedicated audience seems to be enjoying it! my main gripe is it doesn\'t scream grimlock to me, grim had a very iconic.... shape? he always sort of looked like a banana with a very square dinosaur head. I\'m not saying we can\'t have realistic designs, my description is very much g1 oriented, and i will say the colors are spot frickin on, but personally unless this was set beside other TF statues id assume it was just a robot dinosaur, not specifically Grim. he seems like a complimentary piece, not one I think you\'d get by itself.

Where are you getting this price from? There's like 3 or 4 sites that have him for just around $1700 with $300 for shipping to the US.
