I recently bought Tom Baker Doctor Who season 1, Original Twilight Zone complete series, and Alfred Hitchcock complete movie collection Blu Ray sets, so I definitely have a month or so of entertainment.
Watching this new "REAL" Reality Show called "Across the Street from my house" as that family is truly a cluster F#ck of ppl. From the none stop yelling/shouting that I can hear with my windows closed,to their teenagers who always speeds off whenever they get into it with the parents to multiple times I've seen the Police come by and arrest whoever, this reality show is Amazing and looking forward to season 2 when the in-laws come for the holidays!
Ordered a new laptop that finally arrived in the mail today. I finally have the time to sit down & really bust out this script I’ve had in my head for years.
Caterpillar is an essential business, so no quarantine. I try to squeeze in some painting as my Warhammer armies are WAY behind. That doesn't happen because I'm miraculously needed the second the sound from my painting toolbox latch opening resonates through the house. I'm currently trying to paint 18 Beastmen on my lunch and breaks at work. I'm a week and a half in and am not even halfway done.
Fortunately I'm not struggling for things to do, I've got plenty to do inside (like being terrible at DOOM Eternal, haha), built a shed with my Dad to house my fleet of bikes and workout equipment, and most importantly we're allowed to go outside for exercise so I've been getting out on my road, gravel and mountain bikes a bit more than usual, I'd be climbing the walls if I couldn't do that! There is one thing this lockdown has put the kibosh on for me though; skateparks. I was really hoping to start riding BMX more again this year, but most skateparks have been locked up/cordoned off for the time being that'll be a no go, so instead I went out and bought some materials to make a quarter pipe in the garden to get rad on. I can't wait to make a start on it tomorrow!
Taking multiple walks everyday. I started playing city skylines and my city is ruined. i would think with all the extra time I have I would watch more anime, I am watching less.
I think is cool that my dad is a retro gamer, games from late 70s and early 80s (before the video game crash) like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Centipede. He taught me those games when I was 3 and taught me how to setup my NES but now I teach him how to use modern tech. Anyways I taught him how to play RTS games like the Advance Wars series, Halo Wars series and the first RTS game my late cousin introduced me to: Warzone 2100 on PS1. He has grown addicted to those games so we have fun father-son bonding: blowing shit up.
Seven Deadly Sins movie Final Fantasy VII Remake (finished it a couple nights ago, now trying to get all the trophies) Journey (short game, but I'm not going to complain about a free game like the other losers) Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (finishing up Drake's Fortune for the first time, might get around to finishing The third one next week on my vacation) Marvel's Spider-man (Trophy hunting and doing the DLC) If TF2 hadn't been compromised, I'd probably play it when my husband wasn't home.
Andrew Lloyd Webber has been putting his musicals on his YouTube channel for a limited time each weekend. Joseph, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Phantom have already played. Kinda hoping for Starlight Express just so I can see the lunacy of a roller skating musical based on Thomas the Tank Engine, and the sequel to Phantom, Love Never Dies. No idea if either have ever been filmed, tho. Wow, spoke too soon: Love Never Dies is this weekend's show! --Moony
