    Happy birthday, TFW2005! Been around a long time. Been lurking since RiD 2001 days. I was able to introduce this site many years ago to my kids and now my grandkids. My older sons lurk around from time to time for their own collections. Thank you for providing such a great community.

    Next month will be my 11th anniversary of joining this site. Being high functioning autistic, most autistic people have an obsession with something, and mine was transformers. It was always one of my favorite toys growing up. I still have my very first one I got when I was 4, a Power Master Optimus Prime my grandma bought for me at a garage sale. Now years later as an adult I'm close to owning 800 transformers. I know theres others that had it way rougher than me, but growing up I had a really hard life in terms of making friends and socializing, especially my later years from Jr High to College. Even at age 31, the amount of "true" friends I have in person is less than the amount I can count on both hands. In 2009 I found this site and decided to join. Since than its been a site I visit multiple times a day, and its nice to have a place to discuss my obsession with other people. In a way I guess I could say this site saved me from being lonely at times. I'm glad I found it during a random google search all those years ago

    That old site design brings back memories. I was back in college when this place started up. Used to keep checking here for more picks of Japanese Beast Wars figures and the later the Car Robot subs. Which all got me importing the Car Robot figures as I wanted a Truck not a Munkey Optimus. Used to go by Big O back then here, till the big site crash in 2002, then I renamed myself and have been Tekkaman ever since..

    Jesus 20 years, has it really been that long? The internet and this site were so different back then. Or so He Tell ME.

    I've been posting on these boards since I was a kid, I kinda grew up on here. Thanks for providing such a nice forum to talk about Transformers on for so long, I don't know what I'd do without this place.

    Before TFW some of us are from Transfandom. I think Allspark and Tformers were the only forums around.
    There was only a few smaller sites like BWTF for reviews, TFKenkon for the high res pics, Tfu.info for info and TransformerLand for buying parts.

    There was also Wheeljacks lab on ebay and TFs at the Moon for misc stuff.
    Everyone basically knew each other, now theres all these kids on the lawn :lol

    I've been here since 2008. I'm not as active with posting as some others, but this site has been one of the few places I feel at home.

    It's been a fantastic outlet to not feel so alone in my collecting hobbies. Happy 20th TFW. Thanks for making life a little more joyful.
