Awesome work guys! Been visiting here 17 years now as a member, and no doubt lurked before that. I remember the posts from Orson himself as a definite highlight and treasure trove of info during the reissue and Alternators heyday. Good times.

I miss Orson’s World....

 

I was one of those other people that went with TFD. Back then it made sense to go with the TFD crew, since I was contributing to the Matrix Annex at the time & was friends with most of the people involved with that.
I never stopped coming here during that time, so I tried to avoid all that “Us vs Them” stuff. The people on the regular staff were all great & I’m still friends with many of them to this day.

Happy Birthday TFW2005!

I have no memory how I came across this site. I think I was slowly getting back into TFs with the original release of Optimal Optimus and the arrival of the magical Takara G1 reissues. I then went in deep with RiD. I'm guessing that's when I ran into TFW2005.

You guys have done a GREAT job running the site and running the boards. I seriously think I would have walked away from the franchise and the fandom years ago if it were not for this site. Its the TF community built here that's kept me excited in TFs. A big thank you to all the staff that work hard to keep this place running.

Please don't take a site like this for granted. It looks easy to have it up and updated on a daily basis but it takes immense work. Thank you, thank you, thank you!  

 

That reminds me.. Are we ever going to get that mobile version??

Damn. I've been knocking about on here in one form or another since 2001-ish. I now feel incredibly old. I'm going to go play shout at Armada Sideswipe for being awful and read Insecticomics to recapture my early days in fandom.

Lurked around the site in 2002 when I was but a 13-year-old until I joined in 2003 under the name Blurrwave. Still find it hard to believe that Armada was what got me back into Transformers.

Fuck, I'm old.

Geez, I think I joiend this site in 2002? I used to post at American Dream Comics in 2001, which became Toy News International, then I found this site like a year later. I had another account originally that I think got banned (Crazy Drummer)? This account was originally a buddies of mine that his GF and I at the time guessed the password at, then I took it over. That was 17 years ago I guess, so hope I don't get it trouble for it now   (wooo confession)

I liked this site better because of the larger community, posting artwork and photos of toys over the years. Good times!!

 

Joined in 2007 after following a Jalopnik link about the “upcoming live-action Transformers movie” led me here. From that time I’ve accumulated an embarrassing amount of figures, dabbled in web comics, and even custom figures. I’m here at least once a day, and always find something new and engaging from either content or from discussion threads. Love this community and happy it’s here. Also, I kind of love that retro banner from the post. Let’s bring THAT back!

I haven't been in the fandom for longer than six years as of now, but I'm glad this place exists, because it's a good place to discuss Transformers, which is a property I really enjoy, and I'm thankful that I finally got into it in 2014 after several years of considering it (I always thought they were neat, and I had nostalgia for Armada), and it's nice to be a part of a community that's been around as long as this one has.
