Is that a paint based pen? I want to do the same with some gold too. Are metallic sharpies ok or should I get paint pens?

 

they aren't paint based, a silver pen doesn't give you the same shine. I recommend you watch this for more clarity:

I'm more into the light paint details, I don't use sharpies but it's up to you.

I've only spray painted before, but not really done much detailing. I've never used any pens besides Gundam markers for touching up nubs, and I'm a little hesitant to trust my brush abilities.

So these guys are a little bit shorter than Voyagers, but not as small as 1/144 Gundam, right? Would they work on a shelf with regular Deluxe and Voyager TFs?

 

It's kind of tough cos the models are all different scales. These are the only two I have and they probably aren't perfect scale wise. Then bumblebee is too big for the scale and devastator is small. IDW megs and prime are like Voyager size

 

Depending on the characters, yeah they could easily scale with some deluxes. Optimus, for example, is about the right size for the average deluxe car. (I have the IDW version)

I was just about to buy the normal one. Really glad I didn't. Hopefully GameStop will screw up like they did with G1 prime and only charge $16 again.

 

That's pretty nice looking, I'm curious if the artwork on his box will be different or just the same as the existing one.

 

I would really love it if FT followed through with that Hound they teased. These kits look cool, but I think only Hound could convince me to get into them.

 

Not that I would create a “Release The Hound Kit” scenario to find out where it is but it’d be nice if it was at least confirmed canceled.

Those SD models can trod off though nobody cares about them.
