Now to stay MISB till someone needs it after they all sold out.

 

So... is the stanky knee a real issue... or just sporadic?

I really hate spending money... then having to hunt and cobble together a fix for a new bot. Inquiring minds and such.

 

My copy is fine. Transformed a couple of time now. From what I've seen. It's been mostly QC33 copies.

 

Exactly what is wrong with Fanstoys and the people/culture they attract...

 

I unlike others sell my figs for retail plus shipping cost when it is MISB. If it was displayed I sell for less then retail. Plus with the issues that seem to happen with some. I have a extra if my display copy breaks.

I've got my finger on the 2 parts to watch out for and pictures of the post that locks the knee in place. Also the soft plastic on one side was chewed up from transformation. I should note that the leg on one side feels really loose at the knee. Not sure if it broke and is just barely hanging on or if it's the transformation hinge loosening up.

 

AGAIN - WHY are these figures arriving coated in some kind of oil?!?

Dunno why Fan Boys are completely blind about FT's products' issues, but they're in complete and utter denial.

Wanna pull the trigger on this one, but some of the images and descriptions of those legs has me worried.

 

Received him from TFSExpress Uk yesterday.
He is a good figure, not perfect, however I am overall very happy with him (price was good too).

In regards the knee issue, the pins/rivets seemed strong on mine (QC35 for those keeping count) but I did notice that both had an unusual small dent in the top plate - only a guess but I suspect that whatever normal process they have for inserting these did not work and that someone (maybe the QC) needed to hammer them in after to secure properly - the small dents look like 1 good tap with hammer / hole punch. Might be that on occasions this was missed. There was no loosening in transformation on mine, and I really would not have guessed this was a problem area if I hadnt previously seen it in posts/reviews.

He looks great, is very solid (very high weight to size), and the transformation is mostly very good. The articulation is perfectly fine for the size of figure in my opinion.

3 issues i had -
1) the clips that attach to the wrist pieces when you clip the back end of the tank on really mess up (smoosh) the wrist pieces and the connection is far too tight. I cut quite a piece out of the wrist to ease it up. Nb if the wrist piece gets messed up the robot mode wrist flaps wont close in robot mode.
2) as you close the foot onto the lower leg going into tank mode (or visa versa) the metal tread from the foot gouges into part of the lower leg (the lower connecting area to the spinning flap section). Its fairly well out the way, and looks ok strength wise but not ideal.
3) good grief some of his joints etc were tight - even those lubricated - i carefully loosened screws a bit and most of these issues went away.

 

Lol @ ppl thinking those qc stickers mean anything.

 

I bought 2 (I opened my Showz order today to inspect it and put it back in the box) and both are fine. I got issues with companies not supporting products after sale, but even before majority of these shipped out FT heard the problem and already has a fix that is going out next week per their post a couple pages back.

Why would they NOT mean anything? I mean, is it such a stretch to even consider that a factory uses some sort of batch identification system to keep track of what they produce, and that it could have a sticker with a number on it as part of said system?

Or is it more likely the factory just purchased thousands of stickers with random numbers on, that are then just randomly applied to figures for no reason.  

PS mine came in from TFSexpress - no weird lube\shock oil stuff anywhere i can see. Knees seem fine...left shoulder is maybe a little loose on the ball joint bit (hoids poses fine) but everything else seems tight but not excessively so. My copy seems like a fine enough release.
