That's what I thought too, but after rewatching it recently, I kinda felt that he threw in some Aussie accent here and there to mix it up. I'm neither Aussie nor English, so I'm not 100% sure. But if the English say his accent in the movie is 100% English, that's good enough for me.  

 

This and that Tracks mold from MFT I wish was available as a deluxe.

Uhhh, but they didn’t do all the driving themselves. They rode in pairs & in packs, which is why a number of us want multiples (and variants) to troop build. Not that handlebars always kept them from falling but, they were into extreme fishing...

You can try netting a blurr.

They may fall down, but keeping them down is the challenge.

Plus, finally having ball joint limbs that can easily fall off & snap back on, now would have a functional purpose.

 

The fact that this is MFT and not magic square means that it should be half the price of most 3P legends figures. Yaayyy troop building!!!

 

This is the first time I've heard the name of the designer of Mechanic Studio being Mike Nika. Do you have any more information about him?

 

Nothing I can reference other than that he's been specifically credited for Astrotrain and Hot Rod. From comment exchanges with Mechanic Studio on Wiebo, I get the sense that Mechanic Studio may just be the name that he designs under. He also designed for Mech Planet's Hot Soldiers line, but was not the sole designer on those.

I bet he worked on the HS Prime design. It’s very well done, has a great sculpt, and excellent scale and proportions.

 

Hopefully, with some modular parts too. Probably too much to hope for. He doesn't look like he has a lot of removeable parts except for the wheels and things on the waste. If they do an alt version for generic junkions, hopefully. I'd want Wreck-gar to look like this cause he looks perfect but the junkions, I'd want to mismatch the armor parts so they're asymmetrical.

 

I think at this scale, a new head, wheels, and paint job would be plenty.

 

i agree, except those hips really. I have MST Prime, but HS Prime is still my go-to Prime. if HS or MFT would redo this Prime, I'd address that hip swivel stat!
