My wife and I earn too much collectively, so I don't think we'll be getting anything. We owed the feds last year thanks to new tax laws, so if we get anything, I would just save it for the inevitable taxes that the feds will probably say we owe. Kcuf the feds.

 

Just good luck finding one for retail price. Though I believe Nintendo announced a week or two ago that they're aware of the shortage and promised to ship a lot more to stores soon. And you'd want to get a recently made one that has improved battery life.

 

Going to hold off spending anything until I get out of quarantine and work a few weeks, then I might grab a few transformers or games. Not going crazy with the spending because I need to know I'm well-funded.

Sadly I have to buy a new grocery getter daily driver. I totaled my little Neon that I used to drive to work and to the stores last week so I will hopefully be able to find something to replace it with. Hopefully the DMVs open back up in some kind of capacity so I can register whatever I buy!!

 

My husband and I are in fields deemed "necessary" (I'm a clicklist clerk at Kroger, He's a manager at a fast food restaurant), so our income wasn't halted by closure of workplace. Since our car hasn't been driveable since December, and he needed to pay off fines in order to get his license back, that's where our stimulus money is going

 

It's really weird to me to think Switches have sold like gang-busters all of the sudden. I mean, I get it. It's just weird because you'd think most people would have bought one already that wanted one...

I don't qualify for it, but if I did, I would use all of it in the stock market. That $3500 that some are getting could be a lot of money by retirement or doubled or tripled if invested in the right stocks within 5 years.
