There were a couple of freeze frame shots ofn
the undercarriage and it's.... not pretty, but par for the course for jet Bayformers. the biggest offender appears to be kibble under the actual wings, which kinda stinks. The boy mode is vastly superior to any versioned have at the moment, so I'd consider this a good compromise.

Not really surprising. Different people value their time & efforts differently. There have been times I paid the premium at a collectibles store or ebay rather
than have to try to hunt something down in the wild. Just to make sure I have it.

same size (read: mass) as megs, but with more paint, accessories, and apparently complexity...I mean to me it seems like they’re giving us exactly what we asked for, an MPM with the same level of care as the g1 mps, and thus it’s priced accordingly.

the engineering looks great but it was ugly when it came out and it still is.

Not exactly priced accordingly when the retail price at Target is $150. I mean, I realize masterpiece figures are going to be pricey but come on. I'm sure there is a logical explanation as to why TFSource is charging nearly $100 more than the actual MSRP, but it's ridiculous. Online retailers, like TFSource and Chosen Prime, charging premium prices for figures is largely why I don't shop from them anymore.

The paint isn’t even that bad this time around. It’s not blatantly missing any super important details.

I just said that because jobby thinks that hastak can't do things like 3P companies (despite the fact that hastak have limitations on the budget meanwhile 3P companies have unlimited amount of time)

Oh dang, didn’t realize, that’s my bad! Yeah definitely not worth it for double MSRP.

Assuming they got the scale right, this guy is honestly a bit of a steal at $150.

I can't wait for this. Bay Starscream is kind of special for me because it's symbolic of when I let go of my resentment toward the Bay designs and learned to appreciate them. I HATED Starscream's design when the first movie came out. It encapsulated everything I hated about the movie designs. No similarity to the source material, insectoid face, chicken legs, etc. Then after some time something in my mind clicked (or snapped) and I found myself really loving the design. From there I immediately felt myself open up to all of the other character designs. Feels good to let go of resentment and stubborn proclivities.

Anyway, this looks like the best rendition of the design in toy form yet. I'll dance my way out of Target with this happily in hand.

Personally I don't really mind the shade of grey but I can understand why it may irritate some.

If only it were a shade of grey. Rather it's a shade of tan.

Patiently waiting for the pre-order link. Now I just wonder what retailer will get the inevitable ROTF version.

The store I usually buy my stuff from has the pre-order up for 199 Euro. That's about 216 US dollars....

Still gonna buy Starscream though, that robot mode makes me very happy!
