Well...that was a rush ending for season 6. We just finished it last night, and I gotta say, I was underwhelmed by it.
Weird... I was under the impression that it started. My DVR has been recording AOS something over the last three weeks. I never watched it as I was too busy watching the new Flash and Black Lightning. When I get home, I'll have to see what the hell the DVR recorded.
I stopped watching this show at season 1. How did they deal with Thanos? Did they just ignore what happens?
They mention Thanos in Season 5 which is the motivation for the season main antagonist (Graviton) whose goal is to became powerfull enough to kill Thanos before he collects the stones, but in doing so there is the risk of him destroying Earth as he needs to collect the gravitonium that is buried on Earth, but that's it, Season 6 which picks up 1 year after Infinity War and 4 years before Endgame ignores the snap, instead focusing on its own story rather than tying in with IW/Endgame
Yep, no AOS character died in the snap, everyone that survived up to season 6 were alive and well following the events of IW
They dont even acknowledge the snap happened. Therefore it didnt on AOS I'm pretty sure and its fully in it's own timeline now.
I was thinking about SHIELD at one point today because of the coronavirus. Good to see its still airing as planned. Which reminds me, I need to finish my S5 rewatch then do a S6 rewatch.
AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Will Cross-Over With AGENT CARTER For Its Upcoming Final Season EW has revealed that the team's time-travel adventures will bring them into contact with a character from the now defunct Agent Carter. There's no mention of Hayley Atwell reprising the role of Peggy Carter, but her costar Enver Gjokaj will return as Daniel Sousa. "It wasn't anywhere near my brain," says Gjokaj, who was surprised when the opportunity to return to his Agent Carter role arose. "I would've been thrilled at any moment for it to come back, but I think as an actor you don't have time. You just have to move on to the next project." There was speculation that AOS Season 7 might feature some kind of Agent Carter nod or reference when the crew jumped back to 1931 New York in the Season 6 finale, but an actual cameo appearance from one of the cancelled show's characters seemed like a long-shot. When we last saw Sousa he was running the SSR's Los Angeles bureau and had grown very close to Peggy, but on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. we're going to "see him in a different light" according to co-showrunner Jeff Bell. "[Sousa] had a particular role on [Agent Carter], and so we were able to show another color of him that you hadn't necessarily seen on the show."
