So is this about the size of the original ultra t rex?

 

I got Meg from ShowZ few weeks ago, I totally loved the whole figure! My biggest fear was the pink paint (in comparison with TT by previous pics) but I'd say the difference is pretty small.
Anyways I painted the eyes with a matte clear red spray, and tried to fix the 'fitted' alternate heads as they don't fit complete as the 'serious' head. Anyone who has this issue knows... Also, pupils in robot eyes can't be seen very well (check my pic), but the light is clear and pretty good.

Overall the figure is solid, amazing and complete. I love it! Had comunication with Frank from ShowZ and everything went out pretty well.
If anyone knows how to fix or drilll or sand (somehow) the heads to fit them complete please let me know.

Re: Snapping in the heads. My advice is to pop the head forward on the joint, brace two fingers on the underside of the head, and push the face down with your thumb. With a little force (not a ton) it'll click into place.

That said, I'll look into the head up close and figure out what needs to be sanded down today. I'll report later this afternoon.

 

I've asked Show.Z if they can confirm whether or not there are any changes to the second batch. Considering the time zone difference, they'll probably reply tomorrow.

I've had the worst luck getting this from showstorez.. my first shipment was damaged and returned and then almost a month later they shipped another and the same thing happened again! I've just got my third tracking number a few weeks after that lol maybe I'll eventually get this guy.

Okay guys so I fiddled around with the faces today.
I found that after clicking all 3 faces in a few times the right away, they all sit flush with almost no effort.

First lift the head up like this, unpegging the neck if you have it pegged in.

Slot in the new face and support the underside with your index and middle finger, and push it into place with your thumb.

And voila, proper fit!

I went in expecting to need to sand either the large round peg or the small supporting tabs at the top down somewhere, but haven't felt the need to do so. Additionally, after a few snaps of each face I was worried about the round peg stressing the hexagonal port, but it appears to be a nonissue. I think there might be a little mold flash in the faces/in the head somewhere making things tight but couldn't find anything in specific.

I got a 2nd one of these guys and the same issue of the electronics and voice chip for my KO is still an issue.

Tried fiddling with the thing to get David Kaye's voice clips heard but the best I got was some blinking. I have yet to hear any real answers to this and would like to know what I am doing wrong with this guy. Not helped by there being no instructions at all for this guy.

 

Got the Takara version already. Is there any reason to get the Toysmage version? I dont really care much for the David Kaye voice clips. Other than that are there any areas that make the Toysmage version worth purchasing over the Takara version?

 

if yours copy doesnt have already cracked crotch and your waist still have good friction then no , no reason to buy this one.

 

both wings got the same connector so i cant attach em.

i also tried to replace the missing screw with a bigger one so that thw crotch will be more secure
