@Epykk Dyzastur has some really great reviews for the Chosen Prime. They're concise and to the point.

Thank's mate, that made my day ^_^ I often wonder if viewers are even bothered with all the effects and editing.

I dig Epykk's camera work. Super crisp, creative angles & posing :D

I watched Peaugh & BensCollectables for information on the figures and to see the transformation steps (I will bypass anything Sirtoys related though). I like Internet Personality Vangelus and Thew for the humour they bring in, and the different style of less a straight review and more an experience.

I enjoy Vangelus and have begun to watch more from Bobby, as entertainment.

For anyone interested I put together a "Masterpiece Transformers" Youtube public list of 245 videos and counting. It has an order to it, by character and faction, Takara reviews are by number, multiple reviews of same character, helps me decide on purchases. Combined with 4k Downloader, will always have visual instructions. :D

Sorry if this is off topic, ,but how the heck does jobby get such massive amount of views on his videos?

Many of the older guard of YouTube reviewers like Baltmatrix,Optibotimus, and Peaugh are struggling to pass 20k and he's blowing the doors open.

Is YouTube with that coppa act thing partially to blame? Thew also gets way more views then the above but he has only 50k subscribers which is more impressive.iirc jobby has 360k.

I have no clue, I'm guessing exaggerated personalities sell? They say that...if/when I post reviews my personality will be equivalent to a room temperature potato. I hope people will enjoy it. Again, I hope I can post 1 video at least :p  WORK! :D

He did come from a Gundam/anime background first and it probably spillover from there. Jobby was very meme-friendly.

Jobby has a lot of subscribers and he puts a ton of work into each video. How much work that it's no longer a regular review it's a whole production with a ton of re-watch value. Most other reviewers just do reviews. You get your info and you're out of there.

2 years on, Jobby is still entertaining to me. Wotafa is still excitable and giddy as ever. Swerve seems to have disappeared (right around the time of the HK protests, worryingly...).

Exactly; Jobby's videos are well scripted, planned and edited, down to the varying camera angles. The humor may not be for you, but you can't deny the effort he puts into his videos. Along with other reviewers like Thewj, Vangelus and Wotafa, people often cite that they enjoy Jobby's videos not as reviews but as entertainment. I personally find many of his videos both entertaining and informational, though his humor isn't always my taste. He's one of the few reviewers who isn't afraid to shit on a product he doesn't like, and honestly I feel he's pretty fair in his subjective assessments.

That doesn't mean I don't like other "less exaggerated" reviewers (such as Tman978 himself here, who if you didn't know posts excellent content on his channel), but I think Jobby's target demographic is much broader. People who only buy a couple (or even no) transformers figures probably still subscribe just to see what crazy video he uploads next.

His demographic is 13-23 year olds. Watch the span of his content and the age group goes from 10 to mid 20s.

I like Wotafa. It helps that I've been learning Japanese off and on over the years and hearing it spoken regularly helps my comprehension.

Emgo helps with transformation videos. I don't watch for opinions because I've my own that I trust even if I don't have item in hand.

    TMan978 cause he's CHILL.

    Jobby cause he's always trippin.

    Skullface cause he's picky.

I watch these for commentary mostly.

In order of how much I trust their opinions:
Paik4life One of my favorites, I love his previews and livestreams. He doesn't review that many figures, but the ones he does are usually spot-on.
Tman978 Well-thought-out, critical but fun reviews. Seems like a good guy.
Peaugh The classic, familiar voice of Peaugh, dude isn't always super critical but you can tell when he doesn't like something.
Skullface I don't feel like his reviews are always well thought out, but he's usually entertaining. Don't trust his opinion on Fans Toys.

    Others:
    Kuma Style
Chefatron He doesn't do as many reviews of stuff I'm interested in, but I like him.
Benscollectables I used to watch him more, but he just loves everything and mostly reviews KOs these days. I have no interest in KOs.
    Optibotimus Sometimes I get bored.
    Baltmatrix Same as above.
PrimeVs.Prime (just because he gets stuff first).
    TonTon (same as above).

Honestly it helps to watch as many opinions as possible. Who knows, this or that reviewers just had a lemon in his hands for his review.

Jobby's reviews are more entertainment that anything else. At the same time he doesn't shill since he has loyal patrons. More importantly, he's willing to make fun of himself. Takes humility to do that.

Have you seen his Premiere Timelines? I had a panic attack looking at his Core Star sequence.
