That’s definitely a possibility, but considering even the tetrajets aren’t accurate to how they looked in the first episode, I highly doubt wheeljack would have been the Van from the first episode, especially since every other wheeljack, cybertronian form or otherwise, turns into a car for what it’s worth, I do remember warden referencing Van wheeljack at toyfair (I believe) but he never said anything along the line of “if wheeljack wins he will be the Van from the first episode”. I could be mistaken, but my memory is usually pretty good about these things I must have missed that one, I only saw the sy-fy one that unveiled starscream, and I don’t recall that topic coming up. You wouldn’t happen to know which live stream it was would you?
yeah i think it would've been an approximation of it however, like being long and more like ironhides altmode, or being kinda flat and square or something like how siege seekers are still the tetra jet but with different proportions
No he was short in the cartoon. He looks like he does in the cartoon. The creator of this line is showing love to fans of the cartoon.
I'm not 100% on when it occurs in the stream, I think fairly early, but I remember the topic of Wheeljack being a box discussed during the, I want to say upstairs showcase, where someone had brought their UW Roller and put it in Prime's trailer to cause confusion. For what it's worth, the person posing the question suggested it and Warden agreed that that's what it would have been so probably won't get a direct quote out of it.
Context dude, follow the conversation and you’ll see that I was talking about if siege hadn’t been extended and ended at wave 4, if spinister has been released in wave 1 of earthrise (like was likely intended)
Must be awesome to get to play with one of these diorama sets rather than your transformers exploring your bedroom floor again.
Having had him in hand for a month now I can say with actual proof that Cliffjumper is indeed a cash grab. I love him like I do Shockwave, but he is overpriced and his quality is lower than that of Sideswipe. Damn shield will not even stick to his back.
He actually doesn’t look like he does in the cartoon, and him being short in the cartoon makes him deserving of a Scout toy, not a Deluxe toy.
He probably would've gotten a Legends/Scout-class figure of him if that size class still existed in these lines. But, it doesn't, so he had to be a very small Deluxe, but to make up for that they not only gave him a fairly large gun, but gave him engineering much more intricate than usual for a figure that size.
I really hate the absence of the legends/scout-class figures in this line. I've never been a huge fan of Bumblebee, but I would've loved a Cybertronian Bumblebee figure from Siege. Now that I've got my Earthrise Optimus, I wish there was a Legends-sized Roller toy I could buy (or that they would've included one with Optimus, of course).
Could always go for hftd scout class breacher, t30 legends roller micromaster had a bot mode based on breacher
A) The only "Scout Class" toys Hasbro is releasing right now are from the Cyberverse line, and those have weird half-transformed "alternate" modes. Cliffjumper "deserving" a "Scout Class" toy would mean he gets no new toy at all. B) I've put my Earthrise Deluxe Class Cliffjumper next to my 2011 Reveal the Shield Scout Class Windcharger, and they're the same height in robot mode. You were saying?
Thanks for the hint. I'd rather not pay as much as he costs in the second hand market, but it's good to know it exists...
