Joby Harold is also writing the Star Wars related series that focuses on Obi Wan Kenobi for Disney plus but I think that late June early July the script for Bumblebee 2 will be done he has been working it since January and news flash anything can happen

 

Even if the script is done, there's no way they can start shooting at that time, with the Corona spreading around. Even if it's cleared by June or July, shooting movie would be the last thing on mind when you're trying to recovering everything back to normal, including normal workhours and not being work from home anymore.

 

I think at best pre-production will start at the end of 2020 or early 2021.

It should be noted that the people who are making that super high-end Optimus had a Megatron silhouette and told a board member here (who went to the convention) that the public should be seeing the design in 2021. So 2021 is likely for production and filming. When in the year, who knows.

 

Yup. I also messaged around and Yolopark said that Hasbro is not allowing them to show off the Megatron design. Yet.
