Yes! That's actually what gave me the idea for the nail file.

On my first one I used a Dremel with polishing compound, but that was TOO much and actually marred the surface. I had to go back to the buffing block to get the shine back.

The file board and the buffing block are 100% the way to go. Gives it a factory shine without being TOO glossy.

That looks really good! The neck looks smooth, but the lines and details are still super crisp.

I really think that those lines need to be sanded. I don't like the finish it has. I use sanding-sponge with water on my printings.

RE: Finding the perfect autobot symbol for TE-01:

I've seen people on here recommend the Toyhax "Cartoon Clean Outlines", 2nd largest label, saying it perfectly fits the indentation on TE-01's shoulder.

Am I missing something? I bought that sticker sheet, and the label is definitely too big for the indentation. I even tried trimming away the extra material around the edge of the sticker, but it's still bigger than the indentation. BOO!

 

Anyone willing to sell the V3 S1 head? I know it's the less popular one, but I prefer it and I'm stuck with the light grey version from the V2 release.

 

I used the second to largest one too. It overlaps the indent, which sucks, but you have to look real close to see it. There's nothing else you can do if you want a cartoon accurate emblem. Unless you have the ability to print your own decals. In that case, I'd like to order one from you!

 

Maybe you could sell that one and upgrade to V3 (or V4, if the next batch isn't just a reissue of V3). That one doesn't have the indentation, so you'd have no problem using that sticker.

 

Funny you say that. I actually pre-ordered the v4. But I'm not selling my V2. I'll just have two of them. One in bot mode and the other in alt mode.

Thank you. To a certain extent the paint can hide the rough surface caused by declined QC in the latest batches, plus it's cartoon-accurate to some episodes.
