I received three separate shipping notice emails from showz with separate time stamps with the same tracking number for my Sheridan. It still hasn’t updated/moved yet. Hopefully soon and it’s on it’s way.

 

For what it's worth, you might want to check your account at Toy Dojo. I paid for mine Saturday when I got the invoice and then saw someone say today they got their notice that it was shipped yesterday. I hadn't received any notice on mine moving so I checked my account. Sure enough, it was mailed yesterday too, I just didn't get a ship notice. UPS already has it and it's coming Monday. Maybe yours are the same?

 

Mine said awaiting fullfillment this morning. Now says awaiting shipment.

So probably sent tomorrow and get it Monday.

 

Thanks! Mine is still awaiting fulfillment but then I didn't put the order in until last night. I did have that happen with Agabyss, though - recently saw that they had Earthrise Optimus in stock and I was tired of waiting for BBTS to get it or for it to actually arrive anywhere else so I put in the order and I've been wondering why I haven't gotten an email. Checked my account half an hour ago and found that it had already shipped and will be here Saturday. I think I can be patient for Sheridan if it takes TD a while to get the rest of their order. I'm trying not to be so impatient about these things but quarantine really isn't helping - I just cancelled my FF7 order with Amazon and bought it on PSN, even though I prefer physical copies, because Amazon wasn't going to get it to me until Tuesday.

 

You could always call and ask them. (I mean I would but I'm the sort of person that would let this sort of thing eat at my soul all night long until my wife goes "What the F is your problem?")  

They show they have them in stock on the website I think (confirmed, yes they do) so if they have them for general sale, they should have enough for all their preorders first I would think. Never hurts to call and ask!

Given that Hunk's head is at the top of Sheridan's gun barrel and Sheridan and Wheeljack seem to be the same height - and based on the fact that XTB's Boost comes up to the mid-point of MP Sideswipe's Autobot logo - my visualisation puts him (Hunk) at half a head taller than Boost (pic 1).

This will give FT a different scale for their own "minibots" :

Windcharger,
Tailgate,
Gears,
Swerve
Cliffjumper
and Bumblebee...

...if they stick to the same heights.

But we already know that Spindrift 2.0's propellors only just reach the top of Hunks head (pic 2), so Spindrift will be a fair bit shorter (from a head-to-head point of view) than XTB's Neptune and DX9's Richthofen, both of whom scale very well together in my opinion. (I always kind of saw Warpath, Seaspray and Powerglide as "taller" than the regular minibots anyway, for some reason - oh and Huffer and Pipes too).

But furthermore, looking at the same picture (pic 2) it looks like Dunerider is also roughly 1/2 a head shorter than Hunk, which would scale /him/ with XTB's Boost as well.

I personally feel like we might see FT adapt Hunk's mold for Gears and Swerve at some point - maybe Outback as well, as the alt modes for all of them are virtually identical. And I also feel like what they did with Spoiler (making the bot mode somehow much larger from the same sized car-scale as Takara) we will see but in the opposite direction with their minibots... an alt mode that "scales correctly" with the official line, but somehow produces a much smaller bot mode.

Of the minibots I currently have in my collection I can see Gears and Swerve being replaced by anything FT do - not so sure about Windcharger and Tailgate as I like the XTB design and aesthetic - definitely XTB's Toro with his enormous backpack - and when they get around to a Bumblebee it will have been worth holding out and not getting the 2.0 garbage Takara just released.

To me, as long as the minibots are all of a similar height I don't need them to be eye-to-eye. I mean the Official carbots in botmode don't all stand exactly the same height... Sunstreaker is a bit taller than Smokescreen, Tracks is taller than Sunstreaker, Hound is taller than Skids. I think slight variations in height give each of them that extra sense of character: like of all the "minibots", Brawn, to me, was the bigger of them all being the brute that he is, albeit only a mini-brute, but nonetheless it added to his character. And I personally like how DX9's Powerglide, XTB's Seaspray, Badcube's Huffer and now FT's Warpath are all a bit taller than the car-minibots - but this is from my cartoon preferences and not the toy stand point.

Your logic seems sound to me so I think you're dead on. If that is indeed the scale, I'm good with that then.

Thanks for this. I guess it makes sense - War Dog is much bigger than a carbot in alt mode so he ended up being a super bulky bot. I'm surprised just how much bigger his tank mode is, though. I'm not sure either is accurate in really world scale (stick MP Spike next to Wardog in alt mode and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't fit through the hatch) but I don't think it matters.

Well I tl:dr'd it but I went back and liked it for you so there you go - you liked it more than once

To be fair, the handler in that video makes the transformation look more fiddly than it probably is. Looking forward to a proper review.

 

One thing I will say for Wardog (preface: the inferior product). Despite its nightmarish transformation, the robot was car height but the tank was huge. This mass shifting mirrored the cartoon perfectly. It was quite amazing.

Wardog will be in tank mode forever, and because of that Sheridan will have no need to ever leave bot mode.
