Looks to me like there's two crests and two faces. I don't see how it would be possible to have that helmet house three distinct faces.

I usually go with Ohmyprimus. They're in Singapore so Shipping can get pricier but you usually break even because they don't usually up the price like US based shops do to cover their import fees.

 

I imagine there's a hinge on the back, top part of the helmet that swings up and out, with the 2 crests and two faces rotating independently on a mushroom peg or something along those lines.

 

The ending of the Manga is also strongly hinting of us getting God Neptune soon. If that isn't a foreshadowing I don't know what is.

I think it's funny how many people are stroking their scale chart elitism ego by proclaiming how they wish this guy and Star Convoy were the same size... not realizing that Star Convoy is supposed to be bigger than him...

 

For me, the original five are a must, and the sixth would just be icing on the cake. Hopefully they do it.

 

This was all posted in the Super Megatron thread. But yeah... God Neptune is hopefully coming!

 

Something I noticed now that there are more pictures of him, there's a differencebetween his right and left upper arms besides the sides they are on. At first I thought they'd be mostly the same, but when I saw the tank mode picture I noticed the folded up arm in that picture has a peg rather than a peg-hole, so the cannon pegs onto the right arm with a hole on its underside rather than a sligthly longer peg which I at first thought it had. It's nothing major but it is a little detail that caught my interest.

Another funny thought about this figure, in regards to its origin in the TR Galvatron mold. The alt-modes are kinda reversed from those of Galvatron, in that the transformation for the Megatron jet has more in common with the Galvatron space-cannon mode, and vice versa with the Megatron tank and Galvatron jet modes. It's all mostly in how the legs are transformed though so it's nothing major. And when you look at it and compare it to the original character art from Battlestars, the new figure's tank mode is kinda configured reverse from how the original art portrayed Ultra Megatron's tank mode. Original art, legs in the back, new figure, legs in the front.

 

That's prolly why I Don't like it!

I can't stand the typical H-tanks that Megatron has been; Very lazy engineering.
But this U-tank is even worse!

That said, his robot and jet modes look great and the colours may be 1 of the best Megatrons.

...renderform's upgrade kit transformed (no pun intended) the titans return figure into arguably the best galvatron to date, but it was neither inexpensive nor easy to come by...

Maybe, but then his arms will be left exposed out on the side.

 

to be fair, it already was the best galvatron to date (in terms of official releases) because its only competition was g1 and universe

 

I just checked out a review for him and it is possible, but like you said the arms are exposed then.

Gonna hafta fiddle around with him and see what I can come up with.

 

Late to the party, but I'm glad that one of the two good things from The Last Failure is getting referenced.
