Now I know he has the giant triple cannon, alternate faces (that TLK/Dark Nova fusion looks genius) and generally looks absurdly nice, I’m pre-ordering as soon as.

 

Even if in-story Dark Nova is evoked, the fact that it resembles the TLK mask isn't irrelevant when it looks at least as much like the TLK mask as it does like Dark Nova. A thing can be homaging multiple things at a time.

 

I think his Ultra Megatron form looks significantly better. The tank altmode look kinda meh though.

Hope someone translates the comic. Looks to me like Dark Nova(?) took over Ultra Megatron (rather than fusing with him).

Yah, I'm privy to that too, but I'm sure a lot of fans will want a figure that will scale well with their fully armored Star Convoy. Doesn't bother me so much but it does suck juuuust a teeny bit.

I realize most people have never read the Battlestars comic, but they actually are in scale. I don't have POTP Prime, but I found a picture comparing him to CW Megatron. Putting Megatron and Legends Galvatron next to each other is the right size that Battlestars comic had Super Megatron and Star Convoy at. Yes, Star Convoy was substantially bigger in the comic then Megatron. Also, I found the TV Magazine colored image in which Super Megatron was attacking the combined Star Convoy/Battlestars members and I remembered it incorrectly; Star Convoy is huge even in that picture against Super Megatron.

In the comic, Star Convoy is about 3 Star Convoy heads taller then Super Megatron. Also, both appear with humans and that size difference is preserved there as well.

 

Any possibility of being able to order this beast to get it shipped to the west? I\'m not exactly sure how TakaraTomy Mall works and all that. ((I think they only ship inside Japan?)) I just want to know for reference.

 

Whilst I’m not too sure about the TTM ordering process, Generations Selects usually get put on Hasbro Pulse for US folks, so I’m a bit surprised that hasn’t already happened here. Otherwise places like TFSource or Kapow Toys (who are UK-based so that’s more my go-to place) tend to stock them too. I know a lot of folks stocked the Big Powered set that released before Pulse was a thing, so keep an eye out on those places too.

 

That looks pretty fantastic. If i had room for these I'd consider picking him and Star Convoy up.

 

I'm liking what I see, the extra features has a lot of play value but those terrible arms from TR Galvatron means he can't turn his wrist and the elbow articulation are gonna look awkward. The least they could have done is remold the forearms

 

He’s rocking that shoulder forks and facemask combo. Preordered.

 

there's been a bit of a delay with all of the takara selects going up on pulse, with the biggest delay being the last 2 seacons during the unicron crowd fund. they've never gone up the same day that takara opened preorders
