i swear it looks like they didn't finish transforming DDs legs. his knees just seem low. otherwise, DD and Snapdragon are bought. They're basically new characters for me and I love getting toys i have no reference for.

 

I used DD’s COMBAT ports to create a measurement of his size on Word

I measured him to be about 166mm

I’ve done a scale comparison with Optimus beside DD’s picture.

Here’s Laserbeak beside Doubledealer’s chest compartment.

 

TakaraTomy has been just releasing the Hasbro versions of Hasbro's main retail line in their lines since it's now a joint venture.

Also as @Maximus Danz pointed out, Clouded had Doubledealer's color scheme on the show.  

 

As i said, i could have sworn he is in UK so....nowhere near the production.

 

That's accurate to the SGMF portrayal imo

DC was slightly shorter than Ginrai whom was more or less equal height to G1 Convoy.

This is a good sign that JP G1 scale may be followed similarly to US G1

 

Although it isn't a good sign for the people that complain about small leaders.

 

Small? Maybe it's more accurate to say short as WFC Ultra Magnus is shorter than some PWT leaders but is actually heavier than most per some reviews where they weigh the figures out.

Ask them if they've seen how bulky he is, he probably has a decent amount of mass to him.

Anyone upset over short Leaders, should probably rethink things, one of the aims of WFC per John Warden is character authenticity and a scale based upon the animation

 

Ugh. The head and jaws (massive underbite) of Snapdragon's dragon mode look terrible. Really terrible.

 

I might change my mind in hand, but even though he is voyager HEIGHT, unlike Shockwave or Astrotrain, all of his shit is built in. He's got a ton of bulk, he's a quad-changer, he's chonky, he can fit tapes... Worth $70 canadian? No. I'll get him 20% off and grumble a bit, but when I compare that to shockwave...

I got Shockwave for $35 on clearance. He's a very good voyager toy. The rest of his garbage is in a baggie. Y'know?

 

I don’t care for the combined weapon forms. The only good one was the Air Strike Patrol Sword.

 

Yeah, I'm getting him but I'm going to need an upgrade kit to fix his legs. Snapdragon looks pretty much perfect, doofy dragon mode and all.

 

It's quite surprising how similar the transformations are going to be for these guys compared to their original G1 counterparts. 30+ years gives us better ability to pose these guys, but the original creativity and transformation hasn't changed much.
The micromaster combined weapon modes are so bad I just pretend they don't exist.

 

Anyone in here have any background in physics or engineering? Because to me, those braces that fold out on the back of Double Dealer make the opposite of sense. They use those on cranes to help them from tipping over when they *lift* something heavy. Having them on a rocket launching platform doesn't add up in my head, but I have no technical knowledge to back that up.

Funnily enough seeing pictures of the actual toy has made me now not want Snapdragon ^^' Not a fan of the off-white and I just I dunno, he just doesn't appeal to me so much now as with the renders :-/ weird.

The British Empire controlled territory across the planet, and though they have generally depossed a great deal of this, there are still British holdings, businesses, etc. in some of these areas. So, logically, someone with a British accent could live in one of these places. For example, India, which is a geographic stone's throw from China.
That having been said, you could be totally right, and he is in the UK.
I'm simply saying, if you have no evidence to the contrary of a crime, maybe give him the benefit of the doubt before saying he's a thief

You should send me the armor pieces i love em! Armor up mode, hover platform, jetpack, that kick ass battleship, its awesome what you can do with that "garbage".

I dont mind the pieces when you can do that much with em. Astrotrains just suck, magnus is just armor up prime who has a lazy transformation even with the armoring up.. even jetfire the most my imagination can do with him is that its a drone when hes not fully kitted
