i was looking at my baggies of botbots and realized the winner's circle tribe is quickly approaching the high number of members that the Sugar Shocks top out at (25 or 27 if you throw in some lost bots)...assuming there are no Sugar Shocks in wave 6 and Winner's Circle continues as usual, they could be the new top dogs...

also, I thought I remembered seeing someone post on the number of cyclopean botbots...seems like we've had a high percentage of the one-eyed (visors don't count) bots...

 

Now that’s what I’m talking about. Just random goofy episodes that parody genres and shows

 

An episode I thought of a long time ago was Frostferatu goes into some kind of hyper-sugar rush and bites everyone and overloads them making it a zombie kinda thing. I guess that would work with Sweet Fang also.

 

Y'all remember this pre-intro segment to Aqua Teen Hunger Force where Doctor Weird does odd things like show off his creations or other nonsense he tries to do? What if in the conceptual BotBots show, there was a sketch like that with Dr. Flaskenstein and Eye-Goon?

Edit: OMG, I could just see how this plays out:

(It was a raining and stormy night in the mall, then the camera zooms in the Science Alliance store)

(We then cut to Dr. Flaskenstein and Eye-Goon doing about their usual business)

Dr. Flaskenstein: "Gentleman, behold! I have a made groundbreaking breakthrough in transportation technology! I have made teleportation pods made from porta-potties!"

Eye-Goon: "Are you sure this okay because I saw this one movie about one man and a fly-"

Dr. Flaskenstein "SILENCE, EE-GOON! Now prepare the teleportation pod for the final test!"

Eye-Goon: "Okay but not my fault if you turn into a Botbot fly hybrid."

Dr. Flaskenstein: "Whatever."

(Eye-Goon uses the control panels to prepare the teleporta-potties. Dr. Flaskenstein then enter the teleporta-potties oblivious about the fly in the teleporta-potties. Then, Dr. Flaskenstein gets teleported to another teleporta-potty and then exiting out the teleporta-potty with a grotesque appearance.)

Dr. Flaskenstein: "eE-GOON! hElP mE!"

(Eye-Goon screams in terror and then cut to the intro for the BotBots show).

Maybe a parody of old buddy cop shows featuring TV Cop and Sheriff Sugarfeet or a Game Of Thrones with a Shakespearean twist starring the Sugar Shocks with Mocklate planning his betrayal in the shadows

 

For some reason I picture TV Cop as Kevin James playing Paul Blart...

 

I just can't help but think of Metal Gear Solid every time I see him. He's those "!" guards patrolling the halls. Better hide under your box!

 

got my series 5 packs from amazon in the mail today. Overall liked most of the new figures, though the major complaint I have is Slerp a Derp. Pretty sure I've seen a couple posts about his transformation, but is there literally no way to make his face pop up without sticking a key or file into the slot under him?

Slide out the arms first. It's still tricky, but doable with your fingers after that. (Unless yours is unusually sticky/tight for some reason.)

 

Not beaten physically but rather through repetition, Grandpa was pretty chill but having a respect for the uniform and those who wear it was A Big Thing, especially since most of my social circle as a kid was his military-retiree buddies.

So, while I was joking there, when I see a Stolen Valor type it reflexively provokes a Tourette's like response.

 

This worked for me, except I had to pop the arms off to get in there. But, as always, you just have to work through it a few times to get it operating smoothly.

Isolation Log, day.. *mumbling* .... th-the current day that it is. Life as a Botbot photographer who owns a cat is a perilous one. Many sessions end in tragedy.

I made the story during series 1, the original ending was the five bots that "survive" all huddle up in a storage room and fall asleep. When they woke up everyone had come off the sugar rush and were fine. Any ideas for a better ending?
