The worst part for me are the thin arms. The proportions are all wrong.

For me it would be the small head, or at least where the head mounts.

PrimeVsPrime, I saw your new video review, where thanks to the excellent suggestions of some forum members, you have shown that the Devastator SS, although it has been designed for upright posture, with a few simple modifications the "quadruped posture" is also feasible... and now I have even more desire to complete it! I don't want to judge the choices of others... but in my opinion, those who decide not to complete Devastator anymore, just because they are not satisfied with the result you have exposed... they make a mistake! Instead I found interesting from your tests, the fact that in my opinion, the structure of the Devastator SS can still "hide" some other surprises... it is enough to have the desire to continue experimenting (and I can't wait to start too I)! Then, we must not forget that there are third-party companies, specialized in add-ons... which will serve to make Devastator SS aesthetically even more in line with the CGI of the film, and perhaps also, with some component that improves the joint structure, for example, of the legs!

I really don’t know why people continue to use the resin model as a point when talking about the final figure. We KNEW that it wasn’t going to look like the resin model. It was said that this was a proof of concept and not going to be what the final toy looked like.

Whether or not people think the final version is good is up to them, but I don’t think it’s a valid point to bring up that it looks nothing like a proof of concept.

Can't wait for the inevitable balls mod. I have my own ideas for that, though.

One thing that's worrying me is that I was hoping Overload had some secondary attachments to Scavenger or Mixmaster outside of the large central rail, and he doesn't. (In particular I was hoping his legs would tab onto the shoulders somehow, or that that mysterious C clip on the back of Mixmaster's waist would snap onto the cab. That there aren't any other connections means the entire weight of the combiner's upper body is going through the tiny quarter-inch stem that holds Scavenger's top wheel on. In the official configuration Overload's cab sort of makes a platform for Mixmaster to kneel on which will take some of the stress off of this connection, but it's not the same as a proper locking tab IMO.

Technically, Devastator is not complete until the yellow Skipjack replaces the red Rampage leg (are the left and right pegs interchangeable?). This is a good example of the silhouette and shape of the combiner. The comparison pic looks like the TakaraTomy version of 2009 Combiner Supreme Devastator, as the face is red (unless it is custom painted). I believe this is the second most expensive combiner Hasbro will release (after Piranacon).

The left and right arms are interchangeable, the legs are not. Long Haul must be the right leg and Rampage/Skipjack must be the left.

I 100% believe some third party add ins to the shoulders to alter his silhouette is gonna improve this guy a lot.

RIP my wallet if that were true. Long Haul alone looks like he could be a Leader class.

I believe the point is that calling someone's forum post an opinion is fairly unnecessary. Unless you also like going to your co-worker's desk and helpfully explaining, "That's a pencil. That's a computer. This is called paper."

Definitely would like to see a 3P do a three pack of deluxe sized yellow rampage, second bulldozer and yellow dump truck that come with those "O&K" panels to attach to devy's back and his wrecking balls

I’d love some third party figures that are compatible with Devastator’s ports. Having someone like the yellow bulldozer that plugged into Hightower in the movie or some of the concept art Constructicons as stand-in figures would be cool.
